We loved our 3 nights here. The managers are passionate about providing a top class camping experience. We received a warm welcome and allocated a site out of wind and close to bathrooms. The site was so pleasant - soft green grass. A few comfortable bare foot days and no dirt in the camper trailer - such a luxury. The camp kitchen is one of the best we’ve seen in 5 months travelling. The bathrooms and laundry were pristine and cleverly laid out with plenty to go around. And there was a separate urinal room for men’s convenience and reduced wet seat comfort. I was put off at first by the reviews commenting on the rules. But they were nothing that other caravan parks don’t give out. I highly recommend this park.

A big thank you to the hosts of this fantastic caravan park. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for over 2 weeks and it was well worth it. Big sites and facilities immaculate. We left our van at the park whilst we had an event in Launceston for a couple of days. Our daughter and two granddaughters joined us at the park and stayed in one of the onsite vans. Every afternoon they had the farm show and the feeding of the animals. We found the location excellent and central. Travelled to Richard, Hobart, Zoodoo Zoo, Bruny Island, Hastings Caves, Tavane Skywalk and timed it by chance to be there for the Taste of Huon Festival which was an awesome. Highly recommend.

Loved this immaculately kept park. The sites were large and lush grass covered and the outlook was picturesque. The facilities were immaculately clean. It is a farm and you can visit the friendly cows! They are also a home for Tasmanian Devils who are too old for the captive breeding program and can’t be let back into the wild. The feed them in the afternoon. Great place. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location and the caravan sights are huge with lovely soft grass. Facilities are very clean. Treated river water is at each sigh it has a bit of tannin in it so it’s recommended to boil before drinking. The farm show every day is great for the kids as is the devil feeding.

Lovely area ... Close to shops and boat ride
Bit expensive when extras on same plot in a swag or tent was $30 each ...and the cost should include showers .$1 for 4 mins .... $65 a night ...and $6 each for washer or dryer ... So many rules .. one car not two .. dog friendly but lots were barking . And absolutely no visitors allowed !!!
Beautiful fire pits with large tables .
Lovely clean amenities .and commune area

We stopped here for one night and I recommend upgrading to a lake view site. The amenities are brand new and super clean and a bonus is watching the animal experience including seeing Tassie devils being fed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, highly recommend.

Amazing park for families. The grass is so luscious and beautiful. A little bit expensive but the free animal show is pretty cool for the little ones. Showers are $1 for 4 minutes, I think for the price of sites $55-$75 they could cut the shower charge out. River is good for a refreshing dip and the off lead dog area at the front of the park is a greato option for dog owners. Great park all in all, definitely recommend.

The facilities in my opinion were top class for a caravan park. Spoiled us for any other facilities after that. The toilets and showers were all unisex with a common area for the sinks. Very good showers. Really nice laundry and the camp kitchen was lovely.
