Came Saturday morning and was relatively busy but line moved quick. Lots of tables to sit at and service was good. The carrot cake was really delicious and the sausage roll was good too. Pastry done well. Would lovs to see some more creative items tho. Would recommend if you are in the area but definitely don't need to go out of your way to visit

Finger bun nostalgia goodness!!! This is why they are famous. It’s so good! It’s like no finger bun we were served in our school canteens and tuck shops. This is the Louis Vuitton of finger buns. The icing is pure magic, the bun is flaky and buttery and to add to that there is a layer of butter slapped between the two buns. It’s sensational. The meat and mushroom pie was also pretty good.

We ordered the basque cheesecake for Mother’s Day and it was really good

Finger licking bun that melts in the mouth!!!!! Rushed in just more than an hour before they closed on a Sunday, they still have some left! The girl greeted me was so lovely and accommodating. Thanks so much, brb telling all my friends this amazing bakery!

Came here on a recommendation for their finger buns, but had a mortadella sandwich first which was delicious. Packed with top notch ingredients, so flavoursome. Followed it with the decadent finger bun, with its slab of butter. Perfect balance of sweet and savoury. A busy Surry Hills spot at lunchtime but I got an outside table for some fabulous people watching.

Great outdoor ambience but be prepared to wait in line during the week-end. The service was prompt & friendly. The coffees were made well. The pork & fennel sausage roll is my top pick, along with the beef and mushroom pie. The chocolate croissant was pretty good too. I have previously tried the basque cheesecake and that’s a winner too but a bit on the heavier side.

I do recommend the finger bun - cloud soft with a slice of butter that doesn’t taste overpowering. Sausage roll was okay. Mushroom toastie okay too. Would like to have tried the sandwiches but there weren’t any when we were there.

The waitress at counter was lovely. Sandwich was tasty, but I was told someone will bring me water after I sit down - no one did that. I saw waitress walking around, bringing water to a group of ⚪️ people and one ⚪️lady sitting alone, but still chose to ignore me, probably bc my skin colour I guess?
