I hired HQ34 for my recent 40th birthday party. It's a unique and super trendy space, perfect for an event that has a few things going on at once. We had a dedicated dance floor area, where we pumped the music, as well as the bar and den area, where people could mingle and chat but still be able to hear each while talking. We got to manage our own bar and there is a great kitchen space out the back which we used for the catering.

Martin was very helpful from the moment I first enquired about the space. He organised a walk through for me prior to the event to get an idea of what I wanted set up. Martin had plenty of helpful suggestions. He set the areas up with furniture that suited my theme, and was available to help with any last minute questions.

A number of my guests asked me how I found out about the space as they said you would never know such a beautiful place existed if you had never been there before.

What a hidden gem!! I'm a wedding photographer and I had my first opportunity to work at HQthirtyfour recently and I absolutely love it. Upstairs has the most beautiful light and it's a really stunning blank space to have as the backdrop for your day. Downstairs has very high ceilings, gorgeous furniture and a really nice bar area. It's such a flexible and functional space that just looks stunning! I loved working with Martin who takes such good care of the venue and the couple. I really hope I'm booked for another HQthirtyfour wedding soon!

We hired the full space for our joint 40th which was also a surprise wedding. It was perfect, Martin and Maria were amazing through the whole process. It’s stunning in its authentic aesthetic and easily accommodated all of our guests, a Photo Booth, a dance floor and sections for food and socialising. If you are looking for a beautiful space which is reasonably priced and flexible enough for multiple types of celebrations I highly recommend you go and have a look, you will not be disappointed.

HQThirtyFour was our wet weather backup for our wedding day and just as well because we had torrential rain on the day. Martin was so easy to deal with and really went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They accommodated the last minute swap with less than 24 hrs notice and it turned out even better than our outdoor plans. I actually hadn't even visited the venue before the big day so there was a lot riding on the decision and we couldn't be happier. The upstairs room has AMAZING lighting and I can't wait to get our professional photos back to share. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Rustic venue ideal for multiple purposes. Our son had his wedding here. Staff excellent service. Food well presented and good variety, also had wood fired pizza.. yum.
