I recently visited house of zen for a remedial massage, and while the massage itself was decent, the overall experience left much to be desired.

First and foremost, when I book a remedial massage, I expect a consultation at the very least. There was no discussion about my specific needs or areas of concern, which is disappointing for this type of service.

Additionally, the atmosphere was anything but relaxing. The space was incredibly noisy, with constant chatter, phones ringing, and people talking on their phones in raised voices—often in a different language. This made it nearly impossible to unwind and enjoy the session.

To top it off, I specifically asked the therapist not to touch my arms, but she ignored my request until I asked a second time. This lack of attentiveness made me feel unheard and undervalued as a client.

While the massage technique itself was good, the chaotic environment and lack of professionalism were significant letdowns. I won’t be returning, as this was far from the relaxing and therapeutic experience I was hoping for.

Hubby started going to House of Zen about 6 months ago and loved the massage by Fiona, when Fiona was not available he had massages from Ria, which he also liked. ... But, we requested Ria on Wed 8th Jan '25 and did not get her. .... instead he got The Boss. ... she apparently did some work on his back, and literally 20 minutes on his head and hair, and when she asked him to turn over ... no Massage done to the front of his body or legs. Noticed that someone else complained about having too much time spent on massaging their head .... NOT HAPPY WITH THE BOSS'S MASSAGE !!!

Ive had many remedial massages in my time but house of zen’ therapists were amazing. “Aw” was truly an incredible therapist she has 20yrs experience and she is damn good at what she does. I left there feeling amazing and a week later im still feeling good which is different from the other places ive hone for remedial massages.. I highly recommend House of Zen for treatments in particular “Aw” she’s amazing…

Had an hours massage with Sussana today after reviewers advice. Amazing massage. She listened to my body bigtime. Told her she has a new customer. Very impressed. I've hurt my arm and now it feels great even after an hours massage. Highly recommend.

Sorry but that was just a back rub and head rub no massage very poor considering you hand over 80 dollars save your money
