I am incredibly impressed with this hotel. This is where I’m going to stay from now on when I come into Sydney. The room was the perfect size, comfortable and you know how you can just tell that a room is really clean? That was this. It was a special trip to appear on weekend sunrise as a guest and the hotel actually added to the experience With special little touches. I had to do make up and hair in the room and they gave me a balcony room with lots of light which really helped me see what I was doing. There were so many mirrors with different kinds of light and a make up mirror in the cupboard!! Blown away. I don’t know if they have those in every room or if they did that for me because I had made a special request for a room with good lighting. When I checked in, I was told all the rooms have the same lighting design but that I have been put in a balcony room for extra daylight. So thoughtful. The parking was really easy as well. Always plenty of space even though the hotel was obviously well booked. If there are any other hotels of this quality and size, I would love to know about them - Especially if there’s one in Melbourne. Five stars all the way.

The Urban is a great little hotel. It’s small enough to get that personal attention, especially by the reception staff. There’s a cafe within the hotel, which has a small but delicious breakfast (and can deliver to your room - the breakfast wrap was great!).
Based on room 317, is on the main road but there’s double glazed windows which keeps the road noise to a dull hum! Comfy bed, choice of hard or soft pillows, plenty of hot water in the shower, and the room was clean and is just the ticket if you want to use the Urban as a base to visit Sydney as the railway station is a short level walk.
I’d thoroughly recommend the Urban, and will be staying here again.

Great friendly staff that possess excellent customer service skills. Room service is great. Rooms are in good condition, beautifully decorated and furnished. I recommend a balcony room, they're great. Rooms are pretty soundproof in that you don't hear your neighbours at all. Close to Royal North Shore Hospital and St. Leonards train station. I fully recommend this hotel.

Average property , however room allocated was next to the road and could hear the engine sound of each vehicle passing by right across the night.. when requested for change of room due to room being noise was provided with ear plugs.. maybe the rooms far from road maybe better..

Great place to stay, I can not fault the reception desk staff, they go above and beyond to assist. They do great deals for guests and have a hospital stay service. Highly recommended.

Have to admit, this all came as a total surprise, in a very good way. The staff were all excellent from the moment you walked in the door, to leaving 7 days later. The room was very relaxing, open, fresh and even had a balcony. The bathroom and all the amenities were also very good. Housekeeping was a little hit & miss, all depending on who did the job. Most importantly, the Room Rate was also very reasonable. They have a restaurant on the ground floor. The food, services and prices were all very good. Would most definitely stay here again.

Only good to sleep in it, what I didn’t like is there is no free parking with the room you have to pay 20$ per day I parked in the hospital for 7 days for 62$
