I recently had the pleasure of visiting the rooftop bar at Hotel Palisade, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that set the tone for the entire evening. Special thanks to the bar manager, Valentina, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

The views are truly breathtaking – you can take in the stunning panorama of Sydney Harbour while enjoying a drink. It’s the kind of view that makes you want to stay for hours. The food was just as impressive. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, complementing the vibrant atmosphere of the rooftop.

The service was impeccable throughout the night, and Valentina’s attention to detail and passion for creating a welcoming environment really shone through. Her team made sure we were well looked after, making the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable.

If you're looking for a perfect blend of excellent food, great drinks, and an unbeatable view, Hotel Palisade’s rooftop bar is a must-visit. Thank you again to Valentina and the wonderful staff for making our night truly special!

This is an outstanding little gem! Best kept secret of Millers Point! The building is old school architecture with delightful charm. The rooms are spacious and the attention to detail makes for a perfect stay. The views are beautiful, the location is so convenient. It is a wonderful short walk to the Rocks, cafes and bars everywhere... the observatory for sunset and a tour is also only a few hundred meters away. The noise level is great, we didn't notice the other patrons at all and we had our window open.

The staff were great and friendly! It is a bit like booking in to a stay above an old pub and there is no dedicated check in area but don't let that put you off. It simply adds to its charm.

We had lunch with a cidar and beer and the food was delicious.

The cocktail bar boasts views like none other and is nice and quiet. A perfect place to enjoy a night cap or a celebration ?

Regrading parking, it is not well advertised but there are 3 Wilson Parking carparks near by which are decent for overnight rates.

We will be back! ... and recommend to everyone we know!

Staying in this wonderful, boutique hotel was such a treat! The staff were very warm and welcoming upon arrival and very helpful. My large room had the most mesmerising view of the harbour bridge, with a large balcony as an extra bonus. It was also very comfortable with lovely bedding and towels too. All of the quirky, historic touches in the room were a delight, including the pull cords for lights. I wished I could have stayed longer! If you want to fully experience the magic of this historic area if Sydney, this hotel is perfect for you.

Loved this quaint rustic hotel. We stayed in Surgeon White room and it had everything we needed for a few nights stay. Would definitely recommend staying here. It has breathtaking views and delicious food. The bar staff are so helpful and friendly
