Had a fantastic experience staying here on the last weekend of the school holidays. It was above and beyond our expectations in every way.|The atmosphere is incredible, log fires roaring in multiple fireplaces around the cosiest atmospheric lounge room which was full of games and comfy sofas. Bar was perfect - highly recommend one of their signature cocktails called Song Of Heritage!|We ate breakfast and dinner in their restaurant, both were outstanding.|Beds were extremely comfortable and we were touched with the handwritten welcome note and gourmet biscuits left for us. There was a fireplace in our room which was lit for our arrival. We felt like royalty!|There are spectacular views from the lounge, bar, restaurant and our room.|And the staff were the icing on the cake. Warm, professional and attentive. We were told some of the hotels history which was interesting. We felt extremely well taken care of -so much so that we considered missing the start of school term to stay longer - and we spoke with another family staying as guests who were as impressed as we were and also considering this!|Thank you for such a delightful stay. We will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying here for our anniversary and getting to know the history of the building and the area was such a humbling experience. The service from the staff was absolutely amazing they were friendly and very accommodating. The food here was amazing and It’s a great escape from the hustle and bustle lifestyle.
The fireplace is what drew me to want to stay here and it didn’t disappoint. You can enjoy the fresh mountain air, great views and the fact that it’s close to local shops and outdoor activities such as scenic world is a bonus.

Not normally a person to leave a review but we just chanced to charge our EV here and had coffee and some snacks. The staff on the reception Wil and the young lady at the bar were so kind. We really enjoyed our short unexpected visit to this hotel and will plan to book a room soon because of the staff and the beautiful view.

Our suite was a corner one, no. 6, so fabulous views from two large picture windows with a settee under one of them. There was a very comfortable King bed, small desk with coffee maker, and cabinet with a kettle, mugs and glasses. Everything we needed. Yes, the furniture is a little older, but all worked well and completely suitable for our two-night stay.||There was a corner spa bath, which we didn’t use, with a shower. Climbing over the bath may be an issue for some people but all okay for us and the hot water and pressure was amazing! Very good towels and great toiletries; thanks for also providing body lotion.||We had excellent Negronis pre-dinner in the cocktail sitting by the fire and loved watching Harsh making cocktails. Dinner was excellent and a good choice of wines.|The hotel is a ‘warren’ of hallways and stairs and would seem ideal for a Murder Mystery weekend.||The location is also a bonus as it is only a short walk to the centre of Katoomba.||All staff were excellent, and we are returning here with a friend from the UK for a couple of nights in January. Looking forward to our next visit.

I first had contact with Nigel. Instantly, I felt so comfortable with his approach to me.
Days prior to our arrival, I contacted Nigel to ask for an early check-in. He wasn't able to as the hotel was fully booked the previous night.
Nigel, rung me early on the day of our arrival and had a room ready for us. If anyone wants to hear excellent customer service, listen to Nigel, he is the best hotel receptionist that I have encountered in a long time.
Well done ?

Throughout the year I bring groups of tourists to the Mountain Heritage for lunch on Blue Mountains sightseeing days. Lunch is consistently excellent. The food is always delicious and fresh. Thank you to Molly and the staff who are always professional and friendly. The Mountain Heritage has an old world charm and is beautiful. The view is amazing.

Stayed there in April for 3 nights and it was a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff from both the hotel and restaurant were friendly and provided great customer service. We booked the mountain view villa which had it's own kitchen including microwave, fridge etc. It also had a fireplace, balcony. We loved it and wouldn't mind staying there again. The hotel has it's own restaurant (Jamison Views), a bar and a lounge which also has a fireplace. It has an outdoor pool, small library and also EV chargers. The hotel is also located within only a few minutes drive from the town center which is very convenient.

A glorious grand old dame hotel, where you can luxuriate in the world of the ultra-wealthy of a century ago. Between the exquisite woodwork of the sweeping staircase to the crackling fireplace and the spectacular picture windows, you can easily envision the dinner jackets and ropes of pearls of former guests. If you're lucky, the piano player is on duty bestowing smiles and completing the enchantment. Though centrally located it feels remote on its little castle hill with the unbelievable views. The beds and showers are fortunately of this era, and wonderfully comfortable. The staff were all lovely, but in particular the manager, David James, is a hero for rushing our lost passports downtown to post them to us immediately. What great memories of Katoomba and the people there!
