As my "local watering hole," I feel very lucky to have Hotel Concord at my doorstep. The staff are great and knowledgeable. The dining area is clean and welcoming. The bar area has enough big screens to keep everyone entertained. The outside areas are kept separate from passing vehicle traffic with large, clear awnings.

Been coming to this pub for many years an

d have always enjoyed a good steak or schnitzel and have rarely been disappointed. Tonight however an overcooked schnitzel, very dry, gristley steak for my partner and a bug in the salad. Concord has lost its attraction and I wish they would get it back!

We celebrated a friends birthday on a Sunday at 1pm. To say our experience was average is an understatement.

We reserved a table and the first thing that greeted us as we walked in, was the smell of a dirty wet mop that was used to clean the floor.

Everything else went down hill from there.

We were served by Jordan who we asked for sauces with the meals we ordered as the menu stated “served with sauce and two sides”.

When this was questioned why it cost extra, no explanation was given besides “you have to pay extra” and we got served a whole lot of attitude that she didn’t want to be there and no care was given whatsoever.

We understand it’s pub style food but perhaps the staff need a lesson on basic customer service let alone the presentation of the food was just slapped on the plate.

Wouldn’t come back and take your money somewhere else.

The hotel room was nice and tidy. There was a kitchenette and a bathroom in the room.

There is a nice pub beneath, with a good menu and a friendly atmosphere. They advertise as "family" style and it really is comfortable, it reminded me of a country pub in that regard.

The food is delicious. The nachos was so large it lasted for two meals.

The accommodation is located conveniently, only about 200m away from Concord train station.

There aren't laundry facilities at the venue, but there is a serviced laundry next door. I paid just $15 for a wash and dry to be picked up the next day—but be sure to bring cash.

A pharmacy, grocery, and other shops nearby offer a good option for picking up some quick essentials like a loaf of bread or paracetamol.

Finally, the area is very quiet with virtually no traffic . Even late at night I didn't feel any concerns about coming in to my room late. There was certainly nothing to disturb sleep at night. It was very quiet.

Fantastic location and space for the price, reasonable walking distance to qudos bank area, without costing a small mortgage. Highly recommend for those looking for a cheap place to sleep after a concert instead of driving home same night.

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Queen room which has an ensuite. The room was clean and spacious, it had a small kitchen and eating area too. The food we had was amazing, the staff were really friendly and obliging. The only downside was that the music from the hotel is clearly heard in the room even when the tv is on so that was disturbing. The music is on until the hotel closes. The other thing is that the bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable but it was clean. The hotel is situated close to Concord West train station which was a bonus for us.

Terrible staff attitude from Jordan. Although I love this place, great food, great location, I will never go back in case she is on duty again. Accused us of talking about her appearance in a negative way which was a total lie. When not serving she was sitting customer side with her feet up on the table. Shocking attitude.

Really good food and good friendly service. Stayed here previously as well and rooms were just what you need for a night or two stay.
