Big venue and nice outdoor seating options. The female bartender probably needs to find a job she likes, did not smile or say hello at any stage of our interactions, even when i returned dirty glasses with apologies, she took them from me and gave me replacements with not a single word spoken. Not exactly someone you want being the face of your business.

The hotel is in a great position right on the front, rooms are setup for beach users, which is understandable, quite basic, but ok. The bar was great fun in the evening, really lively. My only gripe is the parking. On arrival I drove round several times trying to find the car park. In the end gave up and had to park illegally whilst I went in to ask about it. The girl on reception was very friendly and gave me a map to find it, it is in the street behind, no markings to indicate it is the hotel car park and you need a code to get in.

Restaurant review:

Horrible experience. I went there with two other friends and in spite of us ordering at the same time, my dish never came ( I ordered roast, same as my friend). I know this things can happen, orders might get lost and not arrive to the kitchen, but that’s when well trained staff should be there to observe and step up. During the whole waiting time ( 45 mins for me) nobody came to ask if everything was ok with the orders. After about 20 minutes I asked our server about my dish and he said he would ask. Not sure if he did since he never came back to check on our table and my food didn’t arrive. 10 mins after I went to the register and asked the guy who took my order, who at least remembered me and my order and headed to the kitchen, a few mins after that he came and said my food would be ready in 2 mins approximately. Guess what! It still didn’t happen!!! Right when I was about to ask for my money back the chef looks at me and I decide to ask him directly for my dish, which he finally sends to my table ( all my friends had finished already and were just waiting for me)

I must say, the restaurant was almost empty, it was a Monday evening with only two other tables occupied at the moment of our arrival so I cant comprehend the long wait time. There were two people at the bar, two on floor and three in kitchen so it’s not like they were under staffed. I wonder how they manage when (if) the place is full.

On a more positive note, food was good and I was offered a complimentary house wine as compensation. It didn’t erase my anger and disappointment though.

They serve $10 jugs of Superdry beer (sounds great) but which are actually a mix of lemonade and beer. Tastes awful and won’t admit to it.

Bar staff amazing. Chefs not so amazing. |Went with the steak and mash medium rare. Received well done steak with chips. |Complained which I never do and received another well done steak with mash this time. |Complaining gets you nowhere it seems. |Just order blue and you may get medium rare.

However, the rooms are notably small, which can be a drawback for travelers seeking more space and comfort. While the decor is modern and the rooms are clean, the limited space can feel cramped, especially if you’re staying for an extended period or have a lot of luggage.

The service is friendly, and the hotel amenities, such as the bar and restaurant, add a nice touch. Despite the small room size, the overall experience is positive, primarily due to the fantastic location and welcoming staff.

Lies in their description regarding room having kitchenette plus kitchen ware when all they have on top of electric kettle plus fridge are oven with toaster along with some plates and spoon etc.
