The tourist park is located near the highway hence quite noisy at night.
The sites are level, with the exception of the one we were on… there was a lot of damage on the paved area directly outside our van.
The amenities were dated, cold (very cold), but very clean.
The park kitchen & seating area was tidy.
It has a little lake which is pretty & has some seating, would be lovely in the warmer months.

What a little gem. It's under new management, and you can see the difference being made. Cabins and caravan sites full. New manager was happy to chat, and let you know what changes are underway. Wishing them all the best, I will be back.

We stayed for two nights in the deluxe cabins.
I was so surprised how modern the cabins are, and nicely presented.
The rooms were super clean and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.
It is a relaxing quite place and we had a lovely time.
I was with a 12 & 16 year old and they both enjoyed it
My son even got a bit of finishing in.
Highly recommended

The rooms are very small and not kept well. Clean but a little rundown. We stayed for 5 days and when we requested clean towels due to 2 of 3 becoming dirty, they asked us to leave them in a pile on the floor near the bathroom. When we returned that night, there was no towels changed and a pile of the dirty ones at the bathroom door. Luckily we forgot to put one out that was hanging on the bathroom door, so 3 of us used that. We had a child who had an accident in bed and offered to take the sheets to the laundromat, the staff said no, just put them in a laundry bag they gave us and leave outside the cabin, clean ones would be put on that morning. Again we left and came home that night, no sheets for the child’s bed and dirty sheets still on the ground outside. Service was just awful. Staff were pleasant to talk to, but nothing was done. We had 1 day they cleaned our cabin and changed sheets and towels in the 5 day stay.
Price was not good for what we had. We won’t be staying again, will just find a motel next time.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The reception lady was so very helpful and friendly, the location was perfect, and the rooms were clean, well-appointed and the bed was so very comfortable. Sitting on the verandah overlooking the water was the perfect way to end our day. The BBQ area and laundry facilities were also brilliant.

I wonder if this park has changed hands since some of the reviews were written. Some TLC needed. Caravan sites had weeds growing up through the gravel, swimming pool needed a good clean and treatment, camp kitchen needs sweeping, and lots of dead tree litter lying around. Otherwise amenities were nice and clean and it was a peaceful and quiet location.
