Me and my partner had a lovely 2 hour trail ride and loved how knowledgeable and kind Connie and Benny were. For us it was important to find a place to ride that looks after their horses - and when you meet Connie - you can see how she loves her horses and does it with her heart and passion. Horses are very well looked after and the ride through the forest is stunning. My partner has never been on a horseback before and his first experience couldn’t have been better. Defiantly recommend the lovely place to anyone that loves horses and wants to experience Tasmania on a horse back. Connie loves taking her clients out on small groups and we loved the attention and care we got. Thank you so much Connie. Hope to see you next time. Gertrud and James x

My niece had a birthday coming up and I decided that I wanted to give her a gift that would create memories and give her a new experience. Evie loves all animals and has always wanted to go horse riding, so I thought this would be a great idea for her 9th birthday.||After searching the internet, I came across Horse-Haven Farmstay and I really liked the way Conny portrayed her love for the animals, this was what prompted me to call. After speaking to Conny on the phone, I instantly knew I had made the right choice. ||Evie and I were both very excited about our horse ride and we were up early to head down to Judbury. As we arrived about 30 minutes before our 10am ride, we were able to meet the horses and Evie got to see them getting prepared and she gave "her" pony called Patchy, a brush and some love before we set off. ||Conny is one of the most beautiful people and we felt instantly welcome and comfortable. We were lucky enough to have the lovely Maddy join us on our ride, she was encouraging and along with Conny, helped teach Evie and I the necessary basics for our ride. ||The horses were so gentle and you can see the love with which they are trained. Even though Evie had never ridden a horse before, she felt confident due to the way these lovely people explained everything to her as we went along. ||The scenery was so beautiful and it was everything that I had hoped for. ||I know that we will be going back again soon. I feel that it was perfectly tailored to what we needed and I am sure with more experience that will venture into more challenging rides. Thank you Conny and Maddy. 🙂

I took my daughters (5 and 7) to stay on the property for 2 nights, tp visit the animals and do some riding. |We stayed in a gorgeous little cottage that was clean, well set up and very comfortable. I loved that it had lots of family photos and experiences around the walls. It made us feel that we were part of their family for a short time and not in some sterile accomodation. |Conny and Maddy made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcome. My (city) girls were initially a little nervous to be in such a natural environment, but after a short time they were free roaming the property. All the animals were very gentle and well cared for. The girls were able to milk the goats, see the new chickens and play with Maddy's gorgeous dog. The ponies were close to where we were staying and had many visits and fed lots of carrots. They were gentle and well handled and cared for ponies and I was not nervous at the girls visiting by themselves. Conny and Maddy were great at giving the girls a pony grooming lesson and riding instruction while we then all walked through the beautiful country side togethor. You can never learn enough about horses. |All up we had a really fabulous time. The kids got to explore and play in the pristine natural environment (including mud pie making). We were all devastated when our visit came to an end. |Thank you so much for your kindness and the traditional sourdough bread lesson! We will stay in touch xx

At the end of March this year my daughter and I had the pleasure to stay a couple of days at Horse Haven. It was a delightful experience. Conny was welcoming, kind and very engaging. We ordered the breakfast for the two mornings; the food and presentation were amazing. I have never tasted such delicious goats milk. We enjoyed walking around the area and met numerous people who were all very friendly. The cottage we stayed in was very comfortable and roomy. We went outside to see the stars at night - absolutely spectacular! I especially appreciated Conny's authenticity - she genuinely cares about people, animals, and making a positive contribution to this planet. I would highly recommend a visit to this farm.

I took my 7yo and two of her friends to Horse Haven for a trail ride for her birthday. They all had an amazing time and learnt lots of tips and tricks about riding a horse! Connie and her guides ensured the girls all felt super comfortable on the horses and were extremely vigilant with their safety.

My daughter went horse riding and had the best time ever. it was only her on the ride and her instructor gave her heaps of information if Dellameare ever takes up horse riding as a professional sport or even if she wants to own her own horse. Would highly recommend friends and family or anyone young or older to go horse riding here at horse haven farm stay.

Pre-booked horseriding trip for our daughters while on holiday in Tasmania.||Arrived ahead of scheduled appointment time, no sign of Connie. Tried to call went to message bank. It was daylight savings so wondered if she had forgotten to change her watch. Waited 40 mins still no sign. Tried to call again straight through to message bank. Disappointed daughters we gave up and went back to our accomodation. Wasted a day of our holiday. ||Connie called later to advise she took her friend to the bus instead. ||Try Cradle Country horseriding they were very professional, safety conscious and turned up!

I organised a 2 hour ride for myself and my mother. As Connie only takes out small groups we had the ride to ourselves and Connie put together a lovely ride that catered to our abilities perfectly. The horses are lovely and we had a fantastic time.
