I thought the eggs would have been hard boiled fresh off the stove so to my surprise she pulled them out of the fridge. It was a tad bit windy the morning I went to breakfast, so be sure to bring a ponytail if your goal is to watch the sunrise and eat. Careful, its open space outside so it gets cold quickly. Beautiful patio. Basic breakfast options.

When staying 7 days, included is a limited $22 breakfast or lunch allowance. The first breakfast was 2 pancakes, served cold with half a strawberry, and 4 small blueberries, butter, and syrup The second breakfast a few days later,my daughter asked for bacon & eggs with no tomato(allergy). I asked for warm pancakes with the fruit and syrup, without ice cream option. My plate came out with half a cherry tomato and 1 spinach leaf. I advised staff at the counter what I had ordered. An asian woman standing next to me got involved and checked reciepts. I explained again what I had ordered. The woman used her bare hand to scrape the tomato & spinach off my plate while telling the staff to replace it with fruit.I asked staff to change my plate because she had touched it.The woman then yelled out to the staff to change the plate. It was disgusting behaviour. We did not have breakfast there every day, and some days, there were one or two customers only. The last breakfast option was 1 piece of thick toast with jam with 2 butters and 1 container of fruit(yep, got the tomato & spinich again) One lunch option picked was bruchetta when you're not really having bruchetta, when at least one main ingredient is missing, e g., basil. It was chopped up tomato and onion on sourdough. Fantastic views

Great view, disappointing breakfast. Great friendly staff, nice confortable clean venue. Targets mid-budget travellers with reasonably priced breakfast. The Eggs Benedict well priced but basic, could do with a little more garnish or extra different sauce. Spinach mushroom muffin served hospital style. Coffee: order the take away version, the hotel regular is smaller in size. Remember this is a mid-budget breakfast. Free Wi-Fi, great harbour views.

The reason we went to this cafe, because we recieved $44 breaskfast voucher, which included in our one night accomodation. The environment was nice with harbour view, friendly staff. However, we needed to pay extra $17 for the breakfast & coffee (see photos). The taste of food was okay, but for that price, we can definitely go anywhere else in Darwin/Palmerston for a bigger size of breakfast, even a lunch!

Gross. $22 for a brekkie that was water logged or out of a can. The mushrooms and beans were cold, the bacon deep fried ... just go for a walk to a Cafe nearby instead.

The cafe on level 3 at the Zen Quarter has got the friendliest staff headed by Lilly who greets you every morning with a huge smile and great service. The meals are very cheap and they also do great dinners served on the rooftop that has 360° views of Darwin. Highly recommended.

Based on the photos on Google, I assume this was a buffet joined with the hotel prior to covid. It is now a café.

Unfortunately, the food provided at this "café" is quite clearly pre-made and then reheated upon order.

The luke-warm pancakes with bacon are served on a small plate with bacon on the side and airplane style butter packets and maple syrup. You have to assemble it yourself.

There is no table service provided. All food is ordered and paid at the counter, with a buzzer for collection. Plates must be returned to a drop off point before leaving. This means the tables are rarely cleaned between customers.

The quality of food at other restaurants within the Darwin CBD is far superior and is also cheaper.
