I was blown away by how beautiful the property is! The location is in a beautiful town south of Gympie, cafe's and pubs near by (1km). The cottages are stunning, modern, private and set in the gardens with a lovely view. Phil and his lovely wife couldn't be any nicer, they have the best secret in Brisbane with their farm! The outdoor area and dam is really pretty. We saw lizards, kangaroos and lots of bird life. It's a beautiful place for weddings, I could easily marry my husband there all over again. I highly recommend this property 🧡

This place is well designed where the cabins are spaced apart and only in small groups. Each cabin has their own privacy but still have a great outlook. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfy. Our cabin had the basics in kettle, cutlery, crockery, toaster and mini fridge.||There is a mowed walking path around the property and the local bee club comes in to explain and show you about bees. They give you a jar of honey too.||There is a large kitchen and bbq available if required.||The host's made us very welcome and had good advice about the area. Great coffee and hotel meals in Kandanga.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Honeybee Farm. We did not see any other guests and it was dead quiet at night, just the way we love it! As it was just my hubby and I, we had a queen suite overlooking the lake. What a beautiful outlook surrounded by bushland. We saw wallabies hop past as we where sitting outside enjoying the view. We also went for a couple of short walks around the farm while we were there. We enjoyed seeing the ducks and alpacas.||Our suite had an equipped kitchen and we brought most of our own food or went to the newly rebuilt Kandanga Hotel which had burnt in a fire but now serving great meals in a pleasant atmosphere.||Have to say how neat and tidy the whole place is from the clean accomodation to the beautifully kept gardens and lawns. Our bed was very comfy as well and the bathroom was spacious.||We are very much looking forward to coming back to this lovely property! Thank you Phil for making us feel very welcome.

What a find!! Phil was always attending the property so was not far away if you had any questions or happy to show you around the property and give you a insight about the Queen bee, bees and how to harvest honey. Much appreciated the jar of honey. Thank you Phil. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit with our UK friends. Our UK friends were able to see a Kangaroo in the bush land that faced our cabin. Now that was a true Aussie experience. We walked around the property and down to the beautiful dam, played putt putt and got a little closer to nature. Much enjoyed and will stay again when in the region.

We recently stay overnight at Honeybee. We were part of a group of 22 who spent a couple of day touring the Mary Valley. We all stayed at the Honeybee and although I can only speak for myself I heard nothing but great comments. ||The cottage vary from motel style accommodation to self contained 3 bedroom cottages. We stayed in a motel style room with views over the lake.||We were made to feel very welcome from the time we checked in. It is a great venue for small tour groups/conferences or a wedding as there is a marque and several secluded well maintained breakout areas. The rooms were very modern and spotlessly clean.||All in our party agreed that it was a gem waiting to be discovered.

9 of us, all friends, visited honeybee for a 2 night weekend stay. From the moment we arrived Phil welcomed us and could not have done more to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. We booked 5 rooms. They all have privacy, are spotlessly clean, well furnished and are part of a picturesque peaceful setting. Well planned and set out grounds with a bbq and communal kitchen if needed. We all (9) highly recommend this accommodation. A most enjoyable time. Thanks for your country hospitality Phil

Honeybee Farmstay is an ideal retreat away from the bustle of everyday life. There are delightful walks on this large property and a fabulous viewing platform for star-gazing on a clear night. Early one morning a kangaroo with joey in her pouch hopped in for a nibble on the lawn and to check us out! The units are absolutely spotless and every room has a view. Honeybee is a hive of activity for bee lovers, who hold regular get-togethers here to share tips and participate in honey collection. Thank you Deb, Phil and Andy for being so welcoming! I'll be back!
