Not a holiday park any longer, full of alot of run down permanent caravans, some people have maintained their cabins very few and fare between though. Rent on your own cabin I thought a bit expensive as there are so many restrictions on what you are aloud to do. $231 a week for a sight smaller than what is a caravan site these days. Very disappointed as the entry is maintained beautifully.

This holiday park is a decent size situated along the banks of the Tweed River. It is clean and has very good access to the local boat ramp, fish and chip shop and petrol station with camping spots right on the river. It is has cameras and vehicle access gate for security minded people. It is also clean and well maintained included built in swimming pool. Not far from Coolangatta and the Gold Coast for more action if you wish or the heritage listed hinterland for the scenic peaceful adventures.

Just to let you travellers know that Homestead Holiday Parks isn’t even who they say they are in actual fact it’s a setup to lure you to another Holiday Park called Hacienda. So if your on the google website and looking at accommodation for Homestead just remember it’s actually Hacienda . Also to note the staff are very convincing in letting you know that their cabins are of high standards . In my view as a trade person working up and down the coast , parking is very limited if the weather conditions are not good there is no where to sit outside the cabin and shower and vacilities inside cabin is below standard for the price you pay .

Having dinner on the Veranda and watch the sunset with a glass of wine is a unique experience

I go to the Homestead to visit a friend whom loves there permanently. It's a beautiful place to visit wish they did permanate rentals as I would love to live there long term as it's a great environment all the people that live there are very friendly and welcoming have enjoyed drinks and laughs on the riverbank with many of them especially after the floods haha. Maybe someone has a vacant unit they own and don't use at Homestead and would like to rent it out to me a Personal Carer whom works in Cassaurinna looking after a Disabled person spread the word good people cheers Denize
