Best spa/beauty salon I have had in a long while.

The friendliest staff possible from the moment I called in to book multiple services.
Today I went in, filled out a form for the massage session. I started with gel pedicure/gel manicure. The technician, Rodney, was savvy and knowledgeable about nail/hair growth and the effects of surgery on the body. No one, I mean not a single beauty salon technician in the many places I have lived in the world ever talked to me about this! (DC, France, the UK, Australia... etc)
Ditto for leg waxing: the smoothest operation with a rolling wax machine to apply wax. Nothing to do with the burning sessions of so-called chocolate wax in DC. Thank you Bradlee.
Kudos too to the masseuse, Kayla, who unknotted the tension in my shoulders and back.
And to Emilie to finish with my face.

The place is so clean that I thought it was new, but apparently it's been there for at least 6 years.

I know of some places in the Greater DMV that could learn a few things about attitude and hygiene. No wonder not a single place in the DMV sees me twice. If only i could fly in into Bangor monthly!!

Toenail fungal infection from pedicure. I've really tried to give this place a chance, for years. They need to disinfect the sink before adding that big tab. It took some time before noticing, for personal reasons, that I went to the podiatrist to be certain.
Would not recommend other services as well. Especially, hair. Nice front desk people though.

My daughter and I visited this spa today , to say we received the warmest welcome and by far the best massage in the history of ever would be an understatement!! Katherine and Anthony were extremely professional , and the atmosphere was very serene~ just what we needed ! The owner greeted us with a beautiful smile , and was very personable. We will be back , and I will recommend this beautiful salon !!

My daughter had a gift certificate to use for Marilyn Monroe Spa. We went and had such a lovely time!! Everyone that worked there chatted to us and were so friendly. We got a tour of the spa which was just wonderful and beautifully decorated. Will definitely go back for future services.

Lash services are top Notch but I took my children to get haircuts 1&3 my son (one year old) his came out great, but my daughters (3) came out horrible... bangs were so short that it took almost two months of growth just to make them look normal. She got in the car and cried bc she said she looked like a boy. The stylist who did my sons hair was a different stylist from the one who did my daughters. The one who did my daughters was much younger and my guess would be she was Inexperienced especially with children... even tho My daughter made it pretty easy for her, sat still and didn't move at all.

I love the environment and how it doesn’t smell like a typical salon. The receptionist was lovely! The nail tech could have been a little more personal but it was nice to sit in silence at times!

I was pleased with the experience (express mani & pedi) but the mani results are a tad disappointing (I’m happy with my pedicure!)

In my opinion, the color is light. I wish my nail tech would have used more polish for each coat.

All in all, not sure that my visit was worth $80 dollars.
