After a long-night flight, the hotel offered me an early check-in, which I appreciated. My first room was 510, with a broken TV, and then the hotel changed me to 503. The room was clean, well-kept, and surprisingly large. The bed was comfortable and made me sleep the whole first day. The kitchenette is well-equipped. The location was spot on a closed bus stop, a train station, and Westfield. Check-in and check-out were fast. Breakfast was kind of simple and the same as all the days we stayed, but it was ok for a Western-style breakfast. The staff was super friendly and accommodating; they always smiled. I will stay here when I get back to Sydney. Thank you

the staff were so friendly and helpful with everything we needed! really appreciated the great service. the room was also clean and modern with everything we needed. comfy beds. definitely would recommend!

Room was clean and tidy. I appreciated the lotions and soaps provided, along with plenty towels and other bits and bobs. My only criticism is that the bathroom smelled a bit nasty despite being clean. But considering the price for this hotel, I don’t expect perfection. Overall, good little Inn.

I would like to share that my 8-days stay in Holiday Inn Bondi Junction was absolutely amazing!

First of all the check-in experience is quick & efficient. The reception team was very helpful, courteous and responsive to our inquiries. We arrived earlier than official check-in time and the reception helped us to keep our luggage first.

Also, The room is clean, spacious and well-equipped. There is kitchen area offering all the essentials including oven, cooking utensil , refrigerator, and even have cleaning tools for us to wash the dishes. My parents love the kitchen a lot! And Room service was offered everyday , with all new towels changed and all items get refilled. Not to worry about the room hygiene.

Besides, the hotel location is convenient for shopping & transportation. Less than 2 mins walk to Bondi Junction Tram & bus station. Takes around 10 mins tram to go to Town Hall CBD area. Also, downstairs have The Chemist , Coles , Aldi , Kmart and just a 3mins walk could go to Westfield shopping center.

We have a wonderful time here and would definitely come to stay again when visit Sydney next time!!

An studio hotel, lobby could be more welcoming with the lighting. The scent in the lobby - white tea, very similar westin.

Room - Modern room and bathroom, very nice lamp light setting in room (tip: set them out in a triangle) mini kitchen complete w dish washer! It was dark, could be renovated white to make the space more modern, add backlighting. Is this what a studio is? Excellent modern bathroom. On our Australian tour, of all the hotels we stayed at this one had the fluffiest towels.

B'fast - Working smarter not harder, we always go with the cooked b'fast, DIY big breakfast. There's cute perfectly bite size pastries.You can eat in the cafe downstairs, no natural lighting, hidden-ish behind the stairs.

Reception staff were very friendly.

Location - near a train station and Westfield.

The room had an odor, though I couldn't determine if it was coming from the AC or the room itself. Overnight parking costs an additional $35. The parking area is dark, with a single shared entrance and exit (no sign or mirror to help guide the driver), which feels somewhat unsafe. For an IHG hotel, it seems a bit outdated. Overall, my overnight stay was okay.

Comfortable bed and a decent shower. Can't want for much else.

Garbage truck was banging garbage cans around at 4am, but not much the hotel can do about that. Otherwise quiet.

Marriott Platinum member, but occasionally staying at IHG including Holiday Inn. This hotel, despite the good location, did not leave good impressions with me.

1) Late arrival, the hotel entrance needed an access card which obviously I did not have. Thanks to someone going into the building I could get in. No one at the front desk. I knocked on two different doors but no answer. I saw a paper stack with my name on it. I did not expect my personal info was left unattended on the desk like that. I called a land line, but it was for the reception. I called a mobile line, and I finally reached someone to attend me 10-15 minutes after my arrival.

2) I found a small cockroach on my bed on the 2nd night. I removed it quickly but this was simply unacceptable. I left my concerns with the front desk in the morning to follow up. I was then told the housekeeping would follow to act on it. When I returned to the room at night, there was no sign of any follow-up.It was like a usual room cleaning. Even they might have done something specific to the incidence, I was expecting a note, call or something to confirm their follow-up out of courtesy. But nothing...I did not want to bother to go back and ask, just enough.

I don't know if there will be another opportunity to bring me to this neighborhood, but I am completely turned off by this particular hotel. I'd expect courtesy, appropriate/professional measures and timely follow-up - that's all I am asking for as a frequent business traveler.
