A week at the Hilton Cairns was wonderful. We upgraded to the executive floor, which allowed us to have a daily free breakfast and free lite dinner. Each day the menu was different, but the quality was excellent. You also have a place for a quick snack and drinks during the day.

The room had a great view of the waterfront. The pool was very nice, but watch out for the sun as it is intense.

The location was perfect. Many places to walk and explore, checkout different shops and restaurants.

So far, we have been in five different hotels in Australia, and this was the best.

From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable, and the hotel itself is beautifully located with stunning waterfront views.

A special thanks to Alexandra at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. Her professionalism, warm welcome, and attention to detail made a huge difference. She provided excellent recommendations and ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering a great balance of comfort and luxury. The location is also ideal—close to everything Cairns has to offer.

We totally enjoyed our stay here - amazing views, great location, super awesome employees! We had dinner every night in the Executive Lounge, and watching the bats come out at dusk while listening to the lorikeets yammering away was a daily highlight. The hotel is convenient to all Cairns has to offer, and we walked miles every day. I definitely recommend staying here!

A decent 2 night stay here prior to heading to the Great Barrier Reef- great location as the hotel is minutes away from the Reef Terminal.||Used the e-stby upgrade to go from a double double room to deluxe double double room - well worth paying for this as the views are stunning. Hotel provided us exec lounge access, which was great for evening drinks and nibbles and saved walking looking for a bar in the almost unbearable heat of Cairns!||Only issue we had was the air con in the room wasn’t very good, the hotel did send an engineer up and further offered us to move rooms, but we got by with a very powerful fan.||Two double beds were very comfortable and the Nespresso is the room was a welcome addition. Great to see filtered water available on each floor, to reduce single use plastics. ||Breakfast was really good, $10 upgrade per person for Gold from continental option, but great coffee and such a good selection of foods and juices.||All the staff were met were so helpful and welcoming. A great hotel, happy to recommend and would love to return.

Lovely updated hotel close to all the shops, restaurants, and the docks for reef tours. Clean rooms with excellent customer service made this an amazing stay. Everything we wanted to do in town was within walking distance. We did a live aboard reef tour and the ability to walk right to the boat without having to deal with transportation was perfect for our purposes.

After a not so good Hilton experience elsewhere, this one was very good.|Great location. We had a wonderful room with stunning views of the marina. The room was comfortable and clean. We loved the open spaces with the rainforest like feeling.|The executive lounge was great with very nice staff.|So was the breakfast, variety was great and the views fantastic. It was a very pleasant stay.

The staff at Hilton Cairns are what really make this hotel. Everyone we interacted with were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Eli on the front desk was amazing. Locations is ideal as it is next to the departure point for boat trips to the reef and easy walking distance to the main streets of central Cairns.||We booked the Premier Suite on the Executive floor for two nights. Unfortunately the air conditioning in the suite is undersized for the volume of space and it was uncomfortably hot in both the living room and bedroom with Air conditioning set to the coldest temperature and highest fan speed. The engineer attended to attempt to fix the issue, however it made no difference. Alvin the guest services manager was extremely helpful and arranged a pedestal fan however this just blew the hot around the room and it was extremely noisy with only one loud setting. We were then provided with a standard room to use to sleep in for the two nights and still access the suite. However air con in the standard room was also ineffective. So we spent two sweaty and restless nights in the Cairns Hilton.||The Hilton building services have not been updated (since the hotel was constructed in the 1980s?) so the rooms have a very old aircon system that cannot cope…which is unacceptable in a tropical location particularly when you are paying for the best room in the hotel. ||As mentioned the staff are excellent however I cannot recommend the Hilton in Cairns if you want to have a comfortable nights sleep!

It was our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better hotel to celebrate. ||The staff were amazing, from housekeeping to the front desk, couldn’t fault any of the staff. The front desk supervisor Ada was wonderful, I cannot speak highly enough of Alexandra at the front desk. She was professional, accommodating, and her customer service outstanding. Thank you Alexandra for making our stay (and our family members) a memorable one and our anniversary so very special.||Excellent location, close to everything. The rooms were great (however could do with new plush mattresses), pool area relaxing, plenty of sun lounges and happy hour all day. ||We were extremely impressed with the hotel overall and highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be staying there whenever we’re in Cairns.||Well done Hilton Cairns!!!!🫶
