Great motel in a good location. The young fella and I had a one night stay and really enjoyed the room. Very quiet and the staff were top notch. The beds were comfortable and everything worked. The kitchen was well equipped with all the basics you would need and a full size fridge was a nice touch. The rooms are also very clean. I can definitely recommend the motel and staff for a next stay.

The Hillview was the perfect place to stay in Charters Towers as it’s up the road from the drive in and we were also able to drive down the road to the Sunday markets the next day. The pool was relaxing at the end of the day and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Deborah was absolutely amazing to deal with and was more than happy to accommodate our small dog too.

Very comfortable and a big room. Enough room for a small table and chairs and sink. Quiet at night with no noise from the other rooms. Good value for money for an overnight stay in Charters Towers. Close to town but will still have to drive. Pool and bbq also available.

Absolute brilliant place to stop and get some rest!!! The place is very well run spotless and has very VERY comfortable beds!!! They have barbecue facilities, pool, laundry everything you need. I like the fact the motel is located on the outskirts of town. Undercover car parking with good height verandahs. They also have an area behind you can safely park up larger vehicles! The owners definitely take pride and care in ensuring visitors have a great stay. Thanks again!

This is an older motel, but has some lovely touches. I was given an end room with a lovely big king size bed.There was a small table and chairs, full size fridge and sink. Quiet at night with no noise from the other rooms and I thought, good value for money for an overnight stay in Charters Towers. Lovely little garden area with a Pool and bbq also available.

Very enjoyable stay, great hospitality, peaceful shady surroundings to sit and enjoy a cold beer and bbq. A motel with more than just a room. Kitchenette makes life easier not having to rely on eating out every night and being able to provide your own breakfast is a big plus. Highly recommend for those that don’t need 5 star but appreciate good clean accommodation with excellent service.

Was given the end room which had lots of space to accommodate my teenage granddaughters after a long drive. We had good rest in this Quite and peaceful motel which prepared us for another long drive. Well done with thanks to Julie and Deb.

I had the best week at the Hillview motel, the beds were super comfortable, everything was clean and well maintained. The location felt far enough away from town for some peace and quiet; but just a short drive to the CBD.
