What a wonderful place and like the heading said the views are magnificent and you could really imagine yourself in Italy. Paul & Craig were the best hosts so helpful with any request. The room was beautiful with magic views and comfortable outdoor furnishings everything was just perfect. We had dinner the night we stayed and it was delicious as was the breakfast the next morning. Lots to do and see around that part of the world from, walks to rainforest, beaches close by, food/drink, my favorite place Tweed River Art Gallery and the Margaret Olley reconstruction of her house in Sydney.|Thanks Paul & Craig for letting us experience the magic setting you have established for all to enjoy.||Oops cannot forget to mention those gorgeous happy labs what characters they are!||Andrew & Cindy

Lovely B&B in the north NSW mountains, with beautiful, serene views, very comfortable clean rooms, the Hillcrest Mountain View is a calming and relaxing place to get away from it all. And, if that's not enough, they do evening meals that are thoroughly excellent - as good as if not better than restaurant quality - we'd stay there again even just for the food. To top it all off, the hosts are absolutely lovely - very welcoming, charming, friendly and considerate.

Thank you we just had a delightful stay, super comfortable bed, lots of pillows and fluffy towels. Excellent a/c, very relaxing floats in the pool watching the bird life, with spectacular views of Mt Wollumbin and the other way the boarder ranges. An added bonus delicious food.

Our stay was beyond expectations - the cottage (spacious, comfortable, private, comfy bed), the food (both dinner and breakfast high quality in a beautiful ambiance outside), the pool, views, etc etc. Paul and Craig are lovely and fun. We just had a great time. Oh.....book a complementary massage - highly recommendable by a special and intuitive lady. Never before have we experienced such a good and effective massage. Just go to Hillcrest 😁.

Our few days at Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat were wonderful, and totally memorable. Paul and Craig provide everything necessary for a great retreat. They are superb hosts who deliver personalised treatment for their guests. The amenities are first class, the food personally prepared by Paul and served by Craig is excellent. We enjoyed both breakfasts and dinner. The mountain views which include Mt Warning are abundant. Every room in our dog-friendly cottage had marvellous views. The nearby town of Tyalgum is fun to visit. The area abounds in natural beauty and bush walks. Thank you for a very special experience.

Absolutely gorgeous location with 360 panorama views!
Paul’s cooking is first class gourmet food and I particularly enjoyed being informed of the local ingredients he uses many from their own b&b/home.
Paul even makes the juices, jams, Muesli and bread rolls not to mention the best coffee!
I was so impressed!
Fortunately for Paul he has Craig who is front of house, and keeps everyone entertained with his humour and warm welcoming personality.
Craig is so professional and has everything running like clockwork.
Making it all look seamless!
The accomodation is unique, stylish and fun with such attention to detail to make you feel at home.
We loved every minute of our stay.

If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away then this is the place for you! My hubby and I loved every minute. The views, the attention to detail in every room, the food (oh, the food!!!)and the most genuine and friendly hosts Paul and Craig. So nice having dinner and a bottle of red with just a few steps back to your room! The menu is fabulous and the wines (we tried two) were perfect. Paul also makes an amazing espresso martini! We were also super close to lots of quaint towns and cute coffee shops. Don’t hesitate, just book!
