31/3/24 Easter Sunday.
We just spent 3hours out here today. We live in the area but had no idea it was so huge. Some sites you’ll see are - fire station museum( run by firies), transport museum, button collection, silversmith, tractors, radios, grab tea & damper, sausage sizzle, mini train rides ( only certain days of the month) the “big cow”and much more. A great site well worth the visit. Entry is $20, kids $?, extra for bus, train rides & food.

How did I not know about this little gem for so long. Amazing collection, something for everyone, can't see it all in one session, I will be back. Volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed my visit immensely. Well worth a look in.

An incredible place to spend a few hours with young ones with train rides, animal areas, vintage cars, sheep shearing demonstrations and playgrounds. There's a vast amount of different buildings to go in and take a look, in addition to trying Billy Tea & Damper at the main cafe area. Lots of specialty items around the village, and dogs were allowed in too (on leash) which was great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and there was ample parking, even on a busy weekend. There's also the Big Cow statue within the village.

Well done to those who lovingly make available a slice of yesteryear. Wonderful displays, stories and memorabilia across the village. Surprised at the number of hands on displays..bees, shearing, Damper and Billy Tea. Easy walk around the village. Facilities dotted throughout. A big cow to greet you, no not the staff, they are friendly and helpful. Please keep up the good work.

What a surprise this place was! I really didn’t expect to enjoy my visit here as much as I did. The passion of the volunteers, the vast displays, this is definitely a ‘must-do’. We did the drive tour on the omnibus- Ray was awesome! Oh and the big cow - wow!

Great family friendly village to visit. A well run business that's like taking a step back in to the 19th century way of life. Great to see the old school cars, bikes, tractors, farm equipment and old buildings like the blacksmith, barber, jail and school. Definetly recommend a visit as a single, couple or family for this educational experience in to Australian history.

Home of the Big Cow and that's about all. We had high hopes for this village as their brochure makes it look a must place to visit. Very run down and there is a lot of information to read about the items on display but the areas are roped off and you can't read them. One set of disabled toilets had 3 wooden steps and no way to access the toilet as it was behind a door 🤷. It may be good when there are festivals on but avoid unless it is a special day.
