Spent a very pleasant and comfortable weekend attending a Permaculture Workshop. Loved spending time on the deck at sunrise and sunset listening to and watching the birdlife - counted many species. It is a haven for nature lovers and a sanctuary from the frenetic pace of life literally just a couple of minutes from the front gate. Who would have known there was such a country experience less than 5 minutes from Capricorn Coast beaches. Service was excellent, people very friendly. Highly recommended for a getaway to a peaceful country break: but close to coffee shops, restaurants and Roslyn Bay Boat Harbour. Highly recommended.

What a gem, beautiful place, a paradise on earth.
Ross welcomed us so warmly in this amazing permaculture farm!
We directly received the good energy of the place, really felt like time stopped for two days!
If you go there you’ll directly see how passionate Ross is about everything he has done in this farm, you’ll even get a tour of the heavenly garden with so much varieties of trees, fruits and veggies, we even got lucky and got some to eat, everything was delicious. You can choose between a caravan, a sweet little house or for the more adventurous, a tent! Then go pay a visit to all the animals around or use the kayak to go around the mini lake!
For the person reading my comments, if you’re around Yeppoon and you’re looking for a place to free your mind and disconnect from everything, this is THE place . We’ll definitely be back !

Wow! High Valley Dawn is just amazing. We had the privilege of being the 1st guests to stay. Everything was awesome.
The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything and kind and caring. They took us on a farm tour and the vegetable, herb and fruit gardens were just wonderful and we were able to try some fresh produce.
The owners even helped get so fired wood and set up the fire pit.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
We will definitely stay again. The atmosphere was so energic and calming. Everything is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Oh the animals were fantastic and the dogs made sure that we were safe walking in the dark.
I can't recommend this place enough.

Magical! Unique! I am a resident of this place for 2 years and a half now, and i love so much the vibrations of this place. I love how it is drug alcohol free and how here, we are a part of the nature cycle.. I love the solidarity of the communauty, love the kindness and the vision of the owner (love you Ross!)
Love seeing the caws, horses and sheeps from the window of my room.
Love to always learn more about permaculture, gardening, cooking, the medicinal properties of the surrounding herbs in the farm.
I love to swim in the pond in summer.
I love how we are only at 10 walking minutes from the beach!!
I love the feeling of peacefulness that the valley brings, and the sea view on the top of the hill..
I love every day spent in the farm, and YES, i would recommend this place 🤩🙏☀️
