Such a great spot to relax and unwind. Modern comfortable Blackwood cottage with fireplace for winter. Right outside back door is walking track into surrounding bushland. Not far out of Melbourne with beautiful countryside and very close to Blue Rock lake.

We spent 2 nights at the Blackwood cottage and we loved it. Cottages are super clean, functional and nicely seperated to provide maximum privacy. Views are amazing. Fireplace makes it super cozy. Access to the forest at the door steps. About 1h drive to Alpine Trout Farm and Trestle Bridge in Noojee.

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed for two nights in the Blackwood Cottage and we had a great time. The cottage was well kept, clean, with new furniture (fridge, microwave, oven, shower, etc.). The wood fireplace created a very cosy atmosphere in winter. The kids loved the bunk beds in the second room. We were surrounded by beautiful scenery of mountain/farmland/forest. The host (Callum) was friendly and helpful. The cottage is about 1 hour from Toorongo Falls and Mt. Baw Baw. 20 minutes to Blue Rock Lake. It's a great place to unwind and relax. We will definitely come back.

We are looking a place to stay and ski at mt baw baw. We come across high peak cottage blackwood cottage which can cater 5 people. When we arrived, the owner already put the fire to warm up the place, have complimentary breakfast and wine waiting for us. The place is new and clean with the view of the peak of the hill. The house also have a room for you to dry up ski clothes. Mt baw baw is around 1 hr drive to the accommodation which is the closest accomendation you can find apart from my baw baw ski resort. The owner is so accommodate, he come and deliver cooking oil for us and some of veggie which come from his garden. Would definitely come again to this cottage.

Undoubtedly the best get away accommodation in West Gippsland. Fastidiously clean, extremely welcoming and beautifully located.
Especially welcoming was the warm fire burning in the wood heater when we arrived. I would recommend High Peaks Cottages to anyone.

Place is clean and organize. Easy communication with the owner. The place don't have AC though we don't need it when we stayed for two nights. I reckon they will be adding in the future because still good to have it in case you visited on hot days. The view is fantastic! Can see the Mt. Baw Baw from the unit. There's a river nearby approximately 30 minute walk going to it and 45minutes coming back. The walk is pretty much on hard level hehe. If you are into fiahing or fly fishing you can do so in the river. We have our 5month old baby with us and free of charge just need to bring your own cot the place we stayed in is pretty spacious for single family. You have everything you need to cook though we suggest to stock up on food and ingredients as its in a secluded area. If you are wanting a escape in the hustle and bustle of the city this is the place.

If there's any thing we wanted to suggest a game board or playing cards would be nice for entertaining.

Fantastic. Loved the cottage and the location. The cottage is new and well maintained, the location is quiet and peaceful and enjoyed the walking trails within the property. The host was easy and pleasant to communicate with and made effort to make our stay enjoyable. We hope to stay again.

Lou was fantastic from the start. Helped me with information on our trip and weather conditions. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and there was a roaring fire for our arrival. 100% recommend. Amazing views ❤️
