The room was spacious, and the bed was comfy. I was not disturbed by the noise of other guests which was fantastic. The location is great, close to the shops and Coogee Beach.

I really liked the code-based locks, it is much better than having to carry a magnetic card around, and makes it easy to go in and out when sharing rooms with someone else.

One thing I would improve is the window blinders, the room got pretty bright in the morning thus it was difficult to sleep late.

We live locally but chose to stay at High Cross Sydney while we had family visiting in our home.
So cool to stay here in a place we walk past all the time. So much bigger than it looks from the outside and I love all the modern features on a lovely old building. Very fresh and great character with everything we need.

We love the Spot On festival on Thursday nights during Spring and it was easy to pop down and enjoy the entertainment then head back to bed super close by.

The convenient location of High Cross Sydney Lodge in Randwick to the Prince of Wales Hospital was the reason I chose High Cross, and it is extremely convenient. It's close (easy walking distance) to public transport - Light Rail and buses. There are a wide variety of food outlets available for both dine-in and take away within easy walking distance. The shopping centres with supermarkets and other shops are all within easy walking distance. The garden area at High Cross looks a tranquil spot to sit and read or just soak up the calm. (Unfortunately it was raining too much for me to be able to take advantage of the garden but it looked nice). The staff are all friendly and helpful. I did not experience any traffic noise in my room even though the outside streets are very busy. The room was clean, comfortable, appointed nicely. Being able to access a laundry (only $3 / wash or dry, so much cheaper than laundromats) and a kitchen (microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, glassware, dishwasher) was extremely helpful. Great value accommodation in an excellent position.

Rooms and premises as described. The rooms are small but well equipped for your basic needs. Great location, shops/cafes only a walk away, and the light rail only a few mins away. Fairly quiet - only a small amount of noise from the road/traffic. Super easy check in, loved the use of an app to unlock all doors. I felt very safe here. Overall, a great stay and will definitely return in the future.

Really great hotel. Great area close to the beaches, CBD, Harbour and airport. Really great service! Staff were so kind and were kind enough to mail me an item I forgot in my room. I paid of course but they went out of their way to send it back via Australia post. Really nice room and ensuite bathroom. Definitely recommend!

My stay at High Cross Randwick Hotel was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The hotel itself was charming, with its beautiful Victorian terrace and well-maintained facilities. The location was perfect, offering easy access to Coogee Beach and the vibrant cafes at The Spot. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I highly recommend High Cross Randwick Hotel for anyone visiting Sydney.

Thank you for having me at High Cross Randwick. I deeply appreciated: late check in option, numbered keypad locks (no forgetting to take keys!), the room was clean (although quite small - not enough room to open my suitcase), and well located at a reasonable price. The room and bathroom were clean, with kettle / large tv / comfortable bed. With the room being open to the exterior (ie not on a hallway) cold air entered the gap under the door, and I could feel air coming in from the closed window, which creating a freezing cross-draught! Some foam insulation around doorway or something to close the gap such as a long doorstop would have been helpful. I would also recommend visually inspecting the blanket in the cupboard even if it’s not washed each time - there were large dried areas of dried food / cream / fluid (unsure what) that was a little off putting. Unfortunately there was someone in the room next to me that was screaming and verbally abusing someone over the phone from 8.30pm to past 1.30am the next morning, and as such I got very minimal sleep not to mention distressed by the content and expletive language used. Unfortunately as it was after 8pm I couldn’t call any staff about it, as I note on the documents provided I would’ve been charged a call out fee. This coupled with the lack of staff at reception at checkout (to give feedback) was unhelpful, although I appreciate this was an issue due to the other guest rather than you guys!. I was also hoping to leave my suitcase at reception on checkout for half an hour while I picked up a hire car, but again with no one there until 11 I couldn’t and had to take my suitcase with me on the bus. Can I recommend having someone commencing on site at 10am to check out rather than 11am?
All in all I really enjoyed my stay, and would definitely return if I needed to stay in the area again. I hope this feedback helps!

High Cross Randwick was a simply beautiful building, great location and excellent accommodation. Everything we needed and a few extras. Our beds were so comfy, the common area very clean, our rooms were excellent and location was great. The staff from booking, to cleaning and checking out were great.
