Perfect getaway to relax and meet new people. Do your own thing or socialise with new friends. Never been a disappointing stay.

A beautifully kept place, run with sincere love. Highly recommended. It’s worth the trip just to experience the venue. I have never felt so relaxed, happy and welcome. Diverse people and beautiful setting. I am very grateful for this locale!

Mainly old men there. Not for the young ones. Nice pool area. Needs to sell food. Nothing to eat or drink if your there for extended stay. Need breakfast options. Place is a bit tired. Spa is hit and miss. Get rid of the dirty room. Not necessary. Furniture wore and tired. Don't like that rooms don't have showers. Only vending machine. Prices are expensive for one nights stay when you could get yourself a 4 star place at Maroochydore for less. It's only like 3 star and price should reflect this.

First time here. Quentin at reception was very accommodating and an utter joy to interact with. The facilities were suitable, the guests were friendly and amenable. And this American was in heaven my first (and only night) playing naked Uno with 3 sexy Aussie daddies while Men Down Under blared from my iPhone. Will definitely be back!!!!!!!

Beautifully decorated place, thoughtfully laid out, lovely and clean, well kept and constantly being upgraded. A wonderfully relaxing place with great facilities. Run by very kind-hearted and helpful, caring gay men. It’s a fantastic place.

Lovely, quirky hotel. This is a bit of a B&B and Lodge and Hotel and Motel in one.

The place is decorated in quirky, island motifs from different cultures. Everything is clean, and the staff / owners are spot on, extremely friendly, and accommodating.

I would definitely stay here again if the chance brought me back to this town.

If one's goal is to get to know the Sunshine Coast and visit the wonderful reserves then this is a great place to base yourself. It is a Men Only resort which speaks for itself. The resort is tranquil and allows people to relax and play as much as they want. ||The rooms are clean and have the usual mod cons but the back rooms do share two showers and loos. This was never a problem when I was there and I found the place to be very clean.||The staff were very nice and in particular Luiz, the manager, was most helpful and welcoming.||There is a nice pool, loungers, two sitting areas, a hot tub and a "Play Room". All very nicely laid out. ||The Balinese influence gives the place a homely feel.||The people I met when I was staying there were very nice and I would certainly return when I next visit the Sunshine Coast.

This is a great place to make new friends as guests regularly chat and hang out together in the seating areas just off the pool.
The Hideaway is not large but an excellent place to spend a holiday. It is very close to the beach.
Karin is amazing and really made us feel at home.
