This place has food that is well prepared and made with care. The rice bowels are the best, and the kachu chicken.
I just mixed chicken pieces with a pumpkin salad, and it's the best I will be getting it again weekly.

BAD SERVICE (bad attitude and rude)! This morning (13/11/2024 around 8:45am), I was waiting for my turn to be served by the staff to order food at Hey Mr (ESP Dutton Park). Suddenly, a customer next to me who had just arrived placed an order. A young female staff member with fair skin (a white girl) and long black hair tied up suddenly served the customer next to me. I told the staff member that I had been waiting first. She replied, 'Yes, I know,' and said 'sorry' briefly with a stern face, no smile, and it didn’t feel genuine. Then, she continued to serve the new customer without paying attention to me. It was very disappointing! Hopefully, karma will repay the actions of that customer and staff member. Everyone knows that the quality of this café has declined compared to before (previous cafe). They’re only surviving because there are no competitors around here. Even though their food prices are expensive. I can't wait for the new stores that are being built around here to open.

More on the expensive side; they lack competition in the area.
Coffee's usually decent.
You order from the corner which can create conflicting queues that have to zipper merge. Can take a while to order, but they're very fast from order to delivering.

A busy café located on the ground floor of the Eco Sciences building. Wide range of hot or cold snacks, drinks and good coffee. Fast and friendly service, with either indoor seating in the Eco Science atrium or outdoor terrace overlooking the old Boggo Road jail if the weather is nice.

I use to really like this place had lovely staff the cook is a lovely lady but they’ve hired a new lady I think she’s French or something absolutely disgusting attitude me and my company working at the cross river rail refuse to go there now. I’ve never dealt with a ruder hospitality worker in my entire life hopefully she gets moved on soon so me and the 15 or so workers that are boycotting it can come back and be treated like human beings.

I had a coffee on the way to the train..."flat white - extra hot" - great appearance, excellent taste and temperature was perfect. I'll be back here 👏👏

Overpriced food. Quality of food is rather poor at that price point.
It used to be a better cafe, but the new owner doesn't seem to be interested in maintaining the quality.
The table is not even clean. The floor looks like it nobody ever cleaned it.
That's understandable because they are the only shop around the area.
May as well spend 5 mins to walk across the rail line for other options.

To say this cafe is overpriced and underwhelming is an understatement. Breakfast bacon and egg muffins are somewhere in $7 mark and you get one tiny little piece of bacon. Moving on to the lunch I ordered a chicken and rice dish and also purchased a Gatorade which came to the grand total of $24 and mind you there was certainly more vegetables than chicken
