I had an amazing trip! The communication in advance was flawless and very helpful. When I got to the harbor it was a bit challenging to find their office but one of their staff members welcomed me at the pier and directed me to the floating office. All staff members I met were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The boat is in excellent condition with speakers so everyone could hear the explanations. Since I went at the beginning of the season the whales weren't too active, but we still got to see plenty of them. The skipper did an amazing job navigating us close to the whales without disturbing them. Toward the end, we were offered some hot drinks, fruits, cake, and cookies. Unfortunately, I did not get to swim with the whales, but I appreciate the effort that was put into trying to make it possible and the priority to allow the whales whether they want an interaction. I can highly recommend this trip and this company!

Quick Cat II - with skipper Josh & the crew. Totally amazing, informative, respectful, knowledgeable, and kind. I went on this trip a year ago, such fond memories I did it again this year (PS I'm from Perth). Those whales sure know how to put on a performance when these guys are around. Highly recommend it 🐋

The Best! Very kind and helpful staff, breakfast, snack, fruit. They know where to go and when to stop. Professional and unforgetable experience. We were also be able to swim with the whales.

Just came back from an awesome trip with these guys during their off season. The Kingfisher Resort has teamed up with the Harvey Bay Whale Watch team to offer the Aqua Oasis Tour which includes a cruise up the Western side of Fraser. The amazing crew (Josh, Sam and Hailey) organized activities such as paddle boarding, snorkeling, water sliding and beach drop off for games and exploring. Afternoon tea was provided and the crew interaction was fun and informative.
Even though the weather was overcast, the water was beautiful and a perfect swimming temperature (25°C).
I can happily recommend this activity to anyone wanting a fun day out with great operators. Will definitely go again 😃

Hervey Bay Whale Watch Quick Cat 11 have a floating office down the ramp on the right at the Hervey Bay Marina, Urangan. We chose the whale tour and lunch at Kingfisher Bay. We were offered warm cheese and ham croissants when we boarded before 7am and then later, fruit and cake for morning tea. After cruising by the islands we picked up more passengers at Kingfiher Bay. The whales put on a spectacular display. People braved the cool water to swim with the whales before we cruised back beside the sandy west coast beaches and coloured sands. The Value for money lunch at The Sand Bar at Kingfisher Bay Resort was excellent. Nice to wander around this incredible eco resort before catching the barge to River Heads and a bus back to the marina. Highly recommend the Quick Cat 11 is designed beautifully for whale watching with three viewing platforms, excellent commentary and staff only too happy make this an amazing experience. Can’t wait to go again.

Our family went with Quick CatII three weeks ago - FANTASTIC cruise and excellent value for money!
The morning we went out, we were warned that the sea was rather choppy - and one member of our group got very sea sick - but there were lots of whales around (they even extended the season). We really enjoyed the cruise.
What was the best was the ever-courteous and extra helpful service of the female crew - they did regular rounds of the boat asking "are you OK?" - it is clear they really love their job.
Skipper, Josh?, gave an excellent commentary.
And there are plenty of refreshments on board.

What an incredible morning whale watching/ swimming 🐳

The crew Sam, Amelia in the kitchen and the Captain made our day absolutely incredible! The family owned company takes a natural approach with the whale swim which was why we did not book with another company (Hervey Bay Dive Centre!)

The swim was determined by the whales themselves if they decided to be curious and stick around the boat, only then did we get in the water on the mermaid line.

The tour was ran as a whale watching with the add on of a swim (€100)- only when you have a good swim with the whales you pay for this onboard after completion, this acts as a guarantee.
