Christmas Day lunch: absolutely beautiful buffet food 😋 abundance of seafood, meats, salads & desserts. To top the experience off the staff were amazing 👏 super friendly & helpful to our seniors. Thank you & reasonably priced (no drink package) I gave a 3* as I felt it lacked atmosphere

We went for lunch at Poppies on New Years Eve. The place was quite busy but we managed to get a table. My husband ordered a salad sandwich with mayonnaise but had to send it back as no mayonnaise. This picture is of my open grill ham, cheese & pineapple with chips. It was barely edible. We visit there about once a month and the food has always been very average but after yesterday we won’t be returning.

The biggest and best RSL Club l have ever been to. The staff are very friendly and obliging. The food is excellent value for the money and top quality. I have just moved to this area, and l will very much look forward to going there again.

Very disappointed with the dinner tonight at the "Presidents Choice". We both had the Battered Honey Sesame Chicken with Rice & Crispy Nooodles.The Chicken didn't taste like chicken or even look like it.As far as the honey,there was none.The Rice was cold.I'll say one thing The Noodles were Crispy.My husband is a Chef & wouldn't of served it to anyone let alone a paying customer.

Great food great Marie took care of us like last time. Every time we come here this lady is an amazing with her personal and also her presentation and her professionalism has been a waitress. Cannot do enough for you. I believe Marie MIRIE is a asset to your company and I would keep her because there’s not many great people like that around.

After a beautiful day swimming and exploring, we turned up to the Hervey Bay RSL unannounced, without a reservation on a busy Saturday Night .
We were escorted up to the bistro and found a table by the lovely Grace, whose customer service made us out-of-towners feel right at home.
In fact, all of the staff , from bar to the restaurant, were exceptionally friendly and helpful .
We will be back !

Food was great and good value for money.

Service was friendly, welcoming and efficient.

Food came out all at once...they respected people ordering starters delaying the main meals and clear the tables efficiently.

Probably the best 'non white table cloth' restaurant I have been in Australia.
