One of my favourite parkruns in the country! I visited Hervey Bay pr on my way up the coast from Brisbane to Cairns and it did not disappoint! Lovely flat course along the beach with views out to K’gari (Fraser Island) and friendly participants.

Wonderful parkrun course, lovely and flat out and back. Great views, lovely path. Fabulous and welcoming volunteers. Was a wonderful morning. Plenty of brekkie options close by and toilets

Looking for a good start to the weekend. 5km. Try the park run. Go at your own pace. My first walk/slight jog here and there, and yep, sure felt the after affects, still nearly one week later. 🫢🤣🤣🤣though worth it. Volunteers do a great job. Thankyou🙏

Had a fantastic run/walk yesterday 16/12/, until I had a misadventure onto the tiles. Only my pride was hurt. But a big thank you to all runners & walkers that stopped to offer assistance, a very rear thing nowadays. "Flat and Fast" , great view (if you look up) , not my style of course ( too flat) but a fun atmosphere and around mid 200 running each week making for an enjoyable start to your Saturday morning , view the markets (on the finish line) afterwards 😀

I will organised event with a good start location. The circuit is between Esplanade and the beach, which is tight when large numbers participate. Might be safer and a better run along the old rail trail.

Love the venue, parking at a premium as Urangan markets on at same time. Average 300 runners/walkers each Saturday. Toilet blocks & bubbles along the route
