Had such a wonderful 6 night stay. Large room comfortable bed Great breakfast fresh baked bread or special bacon and egg pie. Felt very special. Dave was a great host lots of local information and very helpful. We could use the kitchen for evening meals or head to the local pub or a nicer restaurant in atherton There was a lovely little veranda entrance to our room. It as a great place to watch the sun go down or just sit and read and smell the flowers. Just the most relaxing time exploring the southern tablelands.

Lovely spacious room, well hosted, close to town centre, local pubs and cafes and the Mining Museum. Excellent breakfast with fresh baked bread. Easy parking out front. We enjoyed our stay in this interesting area.

This former Post Office has been tastefully converted into a charming B & B. It is a short walk into town, the Herberton and Atherton Historic Railway Museum (staffed by volunteers on the weekend) and to the Mining Museum and walking trails. ||Dave was a gracious host. We self-catered on the second night in the well appointed communal kitchen, which over-looks the main street and the surrounding hills. The bed was comfortable. It was lovely to wake to the smell of freshly baked bread, which we later enjoyed with delicious homemade marmalade. Any one interested in the heritage tourism on offer at Herberton would love the cottage.||The Tinlander runs from the Heritage Railway station on Sundays to the Herberton Historical Village in an interesting 10 minute trip. However, you must have valid entry tickets to enter the Village. By January 2020 there could even be a steam train operating.

We’ve stayed at a lot of different places & types of accommodation on the Atherton Tablelands however until recently had never stayed in Herberton. This accommodation is centrally located, clean, tidy, good value for money, full of history & just charming. David was a friendly & informative host & the breakfast was beautiful. We only stayed one night but will definitely be back. I highly recommend this accommodation/host.

It's not often that someone could say they stayed in a B&B in what used to be their hometown post office but that is the experience I had recently as Fay's guest at the Herberton Heritage Cottage. Extremely well outfitted room especially attracted by the huge spa bath. Very comfortable beds and even a wood burner for those cold Herberton nights. Great choices for a filling breakfast provided by host Fay, who couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommend to anyone contemplating a centralised spot from which to do some Tableland exploring.

Stayed for a night. The price is very reasonable. The heritage cottage was very cosy and country style. The linen, towels are good quality and bed is very comfy. Big spa with fire place is our room. It even comes with a antique telephone in the kitchen. The shared kitchen made us feel just like home. Comes with cereal, eggs , etc. and whatever you can find in pantry and fridge. It was awesome stay.
