I unfortunately had a very bad experience, wasn’t sure to leave a review but my partner who is a Massage Therapist assured me this is not normal.
I had gone once before, it was quite intense but okay. The second time it was a different lady, I told her how the previous time was and that I wanted some thing softer as I was sore and was looking for relief.
I finished with tears in my eyes!!!
I was clearly in pain, when I expressed this she told me if I wasn’t in pain it was because she wasn’t doing anything and it was just superficial- that it had to hurt!
I told myself okay, she’s the expert and persisted. Towards the end, she started putting all her weight on me, and even standing on me!! I told her it hurts, and she said “you’re so sensitive” to which I said yes!!! She didn’t stop or reduce the intensity.
I don’t want a refund or anything of the sort, just regret not getting up and leaving - but if you’re looking for something relaxing/ gentle this isn’t the place.

Updated: Upon reading the owners response, I can tell they don’t care for client feedback and will apparently report you for being honest about your experience with their business 😂Massive red flag. I didn’t experience any relief after the massage but felt even more sore than when I went in. Also since when aren’t I able to support other massage therapists because my partner is one? So ridiculous.

I had a fantastic deep tissue massage that really helped with my sore shoulder, stiff neck, and tight hamstrings. The masseur was excellent at explaining where the knots were and how they were affecting my movement, which made the whole experience even better. They worked out all the tension, and I left feeling like a new person. I can actually turn my neck freely now, with way more mobility than before. Highly recommend – I’ve already told a few people to book in!

Healer massage therapy was a fabulous experience. Hope was my masseuse and she was so skilled and she focused on targeting my stiff areas. She applied good pressure and had skills that were very impressive. I have never experienced a massage as good as her one. I highly recommend to everyone. Amazing remedial massage. I have many very tight might muscles and problem points and have been searching for a great remedial massage in Sydney since moving from Melbourne. After many misses I have finally found Hope at Healer massage. She really knows her physiology and how to locate and fix the root cause of the pain points. Would highly recommend.
