I would like to know how these people managed to get their spare room in their family home listed. On arrival the first thing was the grass or weeds had not been mowed & there was old broken furniture in the driveway. Our room was at the top of a spiral stair case and contained a queen size bed that was pushed up against one wall and 1 bed side table. No chair or desk or TV or radio and the vertical blinds fell out when we tried to close them.The bathroom was on the ground floor. Shower & toilet. No tub. The following morning while my husband was eating his breakfast the host made several comments in regards to his religious beliefs which I feel is inappropriate. The floor in our room was clean but the walls had dirty finger. For the pleasure of staying in this disgusting accommodation we were charged $175.00 for the night. No tea or coffee or TV. I think Trip Advisor should have a bench mark for listings.

Contacted Harvey Heaven through Airbnb..Got Call back from some Wasim Mohammed..We Had Conversations About Hiring a whole house..After I Agreed To Pay Aust $880 For 5 bedroom for 6days he sent me his personal account number to deposit money..(I got all conversation And deposit proof..)I deposited $300 Cash And rest he said cash when I arrive.Upon Arrival last week Wednesday..I called him So I can Get The Keys..Calls Went Unanswered but message would say..I m busy will call later..Very Friendly and with sweet voice called wasim and told me the location of the key..After long day, 12hrs drive.with my family including small kids, and cold Sydney we finally got the key to go in..Once in the surprise started to show..Cupboard full of someone's clothes, shoes office paperworks etc...Fridge full of some food..I managed to convince my family that it's ok cause it was night..My Wife went to steam her clothes for next day events in Sydney and the whole house power point went off..All night no heater , no steaming so arrived Wasim to pick his money in full plus deposit and I asked for receipt.. He said he will get me one tomorrow,
Which never came..Told him that we bought brand new steamer and this what happened and my family stayed cold all night..Fair enough..Upon few calls to get this checked out he said he will get electrician to fix it..Same After when we came home, wasim parked in the driveway said all fixed..I said thanks and I went inside to get ready for day 2 wedding event..He called me after approx 20min and said..The Electrician have charged him $200 and I have to pay half of it..I said no way..I didn't do anything wrong..Since Than The whole drama begin..My Last 6 day stay, I was paying for someone else clothes and suite and shoes, office files food etc in the cupboards..When I asked,about it..wasim said I had to get the house empty for me..Floors were dirty, squeaking beds , power point broken(hanging out but later fixed when the electrician came) , cupboard doors broken, vanity draws broken..I am still chasing my receipt and now Wasim Threats me of telling His Insurance company to claim access from me..I have screen shot of all the conversations. .He Sent me picture of a small dent in a ironing board saying I damaged it..He needs to understand stand that when one has clothes steamer, there is no need for ironing board as we didn't even use that..I was told by Wasim not to mention anything about the house hire and payments to the neighbors..(I dnt know why..)Please be care of the sweet talk..I m sorting expert advice and will definitely get this sorted out..I need my receipt and my deposit back..I also need to complain to Airbnb that I paid for my stay, why there are cupboards full of someone else's stuff..I have all the pictures to prove..Thank and i hope no one gets into this situation when you away from home with your small kids and family..
