The last time I was at Harry's was 35 years ago at 3am at Woolloomooloo. It was a staple after a night out and returning to my ship at Garden Island. Sadly I should have left it a happy memory. The pie was luke warm and crust like cardboard. The potato and gravy not much better. Harry would be devastated.

Netty. Was. Here. Iconic backdrop of Newcastle Harbour, this fine establishment will have you sorted for a satisfying bite between swims at the beaches.

Uniquely Australian if you have yet to grab a Pie with Mushy Peas & Gravy well you best head here!

If you can handle the heat 🌶️ try the chilli sauce or the Chilli con Carne it will blow your socks off. Perfect!

My order was the loaded Hot Dog De Wheels with a bottle of water cost me less than $15.

bit sloppy & messy to eat but that's what street food is at it's finest! beware mushy peas is not for everyone & could use a little hot sauce.

Great pies! Had the ‘Harry’s Tiger’ for dinner and it did not disappoint. Nice big hunks of yummy juicy steak in the pie, lovely service too. What more can you ask for?

Was hot tasty 😋 and hit the spot. Quick,friendly service. My pie was full of tender meat. Topped with mushy peas and gravey ,in a great setting 👌
