The Wedding of Our Dreams – Beyond Perfect

I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how incredible our wedding was, and a huge part of that is thanks to our stunning venue and the incredible team behind it. From the very first time we visited, we knew this place was special – but it absolutely exceeded all our expectations on the night.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The space was elegant, warm, and magical in every way. The marble bar and fireplace were two of the most stunning features and became real showstoppers on the night. The marble bar added this touch of modern sophistication and luxury, while the fireplace brought a cozy, romantic ambience that tied everything together perfectly. These two elements alone created such an atmosphere of beauty and warmth – they elevated the entire aesthetic of the evening and made our photos look incredible.

The entire team on the night was nothing short of amazing. Every single staff member was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They worked like clockwork behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly, and they did so with such calmness and grace that it put us completely at ease. From the smallest details to the biggest moments, everything was handled with care, precision, and genuine passion for what they do. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how smooth the night felt – like everything just flowed perfectly without any hiccups.

Now I absolutely have to talk about Paul – the real MVP of the entire day. Paul was incredible. From the moment we viewed the space, he made it his mission to ensure everything was perfect – and he delivered beyond our wildest dreams. His organisation, attention to detail, and calm, reassuring nature made such a difference. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the night because I knew Paul had it all under control. He kept everything moving beautifully – from the timing of the ceremony, to coordinating vendors, to making sure we had a drink in our hands and a moment to breathe, to tying over 130 bows on each table setting. He genuinely went above and beyond at every stage, and his presence gave us so much peace of mind. It felt like having a best friend, coordinator, and guardian angel all rolled into one. I can’t thank him enough.

This venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The space is absolutely stunning, the staff are phenomenal, and with someone like Paul at the helm, you know you're in the best possible hands. If you’re considering this venue – do it. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless, beautiful, and unforgettable wedding experience. It was truly the most magical night of our lives.

We had the most amazing experience hosting our wedding here in March '25. Paul from Yumcatering was fantastic to work with and helped us create the perfect night from beginning to end. The space is perfect, lots of space with beautiful sea views and a beautiful blank canvas for whatever vibe you like. Food was delicious, all our family and friends raved about it!! Highly recommend for anyone considering a beachy wedding

We celebrated our wedding reception at Harbour Room in St Kilda this past January, and it was an unforgettable experience.
From the outset, the team at Harbour Room made us feel like our day was their top priority. Paul, in particular, went above and beyond—his meticulous attention to detail and genuine care ensured everything ran smoothly both in the lead-up and on the day itself.
The food was exceptional, with guests praising the quality and presentation of each dish.
One of the highlights was the golden hour on the rooftop—capturing sunset photos with the bay as our backdrop was gorgeous.
We couldn't have asked for a more memorable wedding day.

We regularly provide DJs & musicians for weddings at Harbour Room, and it's one of our favourite venues to work at.

The beachside location in St Kilda offers a stunning backdrop for weddings, and the beautiful rooftop is perfect for ceremonies, especially with the water views. The food is always delicious and well-received by guests, making it a treat for everyone involved. The venue also boasts a great-sized dancefloor, ensuring that the party keeps going all night long. The balcony overlooking the water adds that extra touch of magic, creating the perfect atmosphere for both the ceremony and reception.

If i could give 0 stars I would!!!

I'll start by saying the event booked was for my sister wedding , she had booked in March 2023 date of the wedding was in end of October.
My mum was paying the deposit so in April they booked to see the venue together with a lady they were dealing with named Rita, they go to the place at the time of the appointment where they were waiting for Rita, to then be told aw no she is not here today. They were met by another lady who they never met, who has no idea and couldn't answer any of the questions they had at all. To say the least they were very disappointment as they took the day specifically to see the venue and also speak to Rita the event coordinator thinking they could ask her what they needed to in order to be fully informed before leaving a deposit unfortunately this was not the case.
They are very pushy on getting that first deposit and even after that first deposit was made, when asking any questions or for them to provide any information in terms of how the day would run when the gusts has to be there when they were getting the canapes ext we were left with more questions then answers. Oh and to get a call back or email we would had to wait 1-2 weeks this alone made my sister feel so on easy ton think her special day would be in the hands of people who were not capable to do their jobs, let alone answer simple questions or return a phone call.
They wanted another deposit of over half of what the entire event cost was going to be, however refused to discuss simple questions we had in regards how many tables there may be, they would only go through this only if we left another deposit. At this point we felt that they were miss leading and just wanted more and more money.

They have stated by email if that date in 6 months time can be booked we will give you a full refund. How ever when one my my friends tried to book the same date they have said its not available, just so they can keep the deposit.

This whole series of events plus some personal reasons have resulted in us canceling the event altogether. My sister unfortunately is medically not well.
Even through its 6 months prior to the event they have refused to give us any deposit back even if they miss lead my sister mentally not well and pressured her into pay a deposit.
This is just out rages now they wont return any calls or emails from us and are they left in the dark.

This is by far the worst events company or humans I have even had to deal with .
They are absolutely a money hungry business where their first and foremost like to miss lead others and then steal their money and don't care if if your dying or ill or mentally struggling. Absolutely disgusted!
