Fantastic location, comfortable bedding
Unfortunately housekeeping was not great, got in the shower to find long black hairs all over the tiles. Shower did not drain well.
Reported to front desk who offered to fix the problem and was very apologetic
Happy hour - No Ingredients for the advertised cocktails

We stayed in the Queen heritage room, definitely not worth the price you pay for it. Bathroom is small. Toilet is so close to the basin, definitely not suited for a plus size person. Location fantastic 5 min walk to circular quay. Motel has lots of stairs not great if you have knee or other mobility issues.

Lovely heritage hotel. Room spacious clean and comfortable. Showroom quite small but adequate. Staff very helpful we were given a ground floor room as there is no lift. Great location. The restaurant on site was exceptional.

A great experience, after returning late from Coldplay concert we were greeted by a friendly and helpful gentleman Moss the boss - thank you Harbour Rocks Hotel for your wonderful hospitality and lovely rooms. The location is perfect and this Hotel offers a very personal experience. Would highly recommend a stay at this Hotel.

Convenient location and near where I needed to be, my overall experience was average, was hoping it was a great hotel. Room needs a refresh or update. The room was clean but fitting are old, tiles cracked, and very average for the price. Staff were helpful and friendly.

This is a treasure! The location, rooms and amenities are great. But the staff…simply the best!
Everyone was so gracious and helpful. Whether is was checking us early after a long flight, arranging transportation, suggestions for places to go, and restaurant reservations, the staff went out of the way to make our time in Sydney special. Can’t recommend Harbour Rocks highly enough.

Rooms were clean and adequate. Some rooms have a nice view. Most important to us was location, service and noise level.
Easy walk downhill to the harbour and many nearby amenities. The staff are very helpful and easy to talk to. Complementary iced tea when you arrive.
Only drawback (if you are walking) is taking your luggage up hill from the harbour but it is still closer than most hotels.

NOTE: There are no elevators at this hotel, only a service lift for luggage.

I will always hold this hotel close to my heart, as it was the first location my best friend and I stayed at when I started working in Sydney. With only a short walk to the Orient, The Rocks Markets and not to mention also close to Circular Key and the Opera House, its definitely a great location for someone that wants to site see and enjoy the local culture.
As a photographer, Im always infatuated by architecture and the history behind buildings, and your staff were so welcoming to answer any of my questions. Thank you as well for allowing me to take photos during my stays (and not finding me bizarre when I'd asked for permission to lay on the floor to take this photograph).
I always recommend your hotel to friends and always make a point of mentioning the amazing customer service you provide to your guests.
