I had an outstanding dinner at Happy Sailor Fish and Chips on January 14, 2025. I decided to try their Barramundi fish and chips, and it did not disappoint!

The Barramundi was cooked to perfection—lightly battered and fried until golden brown. Each bite was incredibly flavorful, with the fish being moist and flaky inside. The crispy exterior added just the right amount of crunch, making it one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had.

The chips were equally impressive, thick-cut and perfectly crispy, with a fluffy interior. They paired wonderfully with the homemade tartar sauce, which added a delightful zing to each bite.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of excellent. The restaurant was clean and had a cozy ambiance, perfect for a relaxing meal.

Overall, my visit to Happy Sailor was a fantastic experience, and I cannot recommend their Barramundi fish and chips enough. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Has some very nice food. Dagwood dog isn't too doughy, the chips are crispy, I definitely recommend adding chicken salt. However, I don't recommend getting the pineapple fritter it's very oily and you can't taste the pineapple at all just tastes like cinnamon and oil, but besides everything's good

I'm from Melbourne was in the area visiting my son who said to try this place out and I have to say it was the best fish and chips I have ever had.
You have to try the battered garlic prawns OMG they were absolutely amazing.
Would recommend this place to anyone.

We've always loved the chips from here but after ordering fish we will think about coming back. It was some of the worst weve ever eaten. We couldn't even cut it, it was so overcooked and rubbery. The dim sims were OK but were not aussie ones. The Chicko roll was dark in colour inside. Chips were Ok but not as good as in the past.

Got the crumbed hoki n chips and popcorn chicken. Everything was soo delicious, cooked perfectly and so crispy! Love the flavour of the popcorn chicken too.

We've always loved the chips from here but after ordering fish we won't be back. It was the worst I've ever eaten. We couldn't even cut it, it was so overcooked and rubbery actually inedible.
