An absolute fantastic stay with amazing views and it’s extremely relaxing. Gillian is the most accomodating and fabulous host from the huge welcome hamper as well as a fridge filled with bacon, sausages, milk and cheese! We sat on the balcony with an open fire in cosy bathrobes that had been provided. Gillian leaves you not wanting for anything. Giving 5 stars because 6 stars are not available.

Absolutely exceptional place to take my young family. Gillian is a wonderful host and everything about the cottage was perfect from the fresh flowers, to the welcome hamper and all the little thoughtful touches. The location and views stunning and the animals such fun for the kids.

We had our wedding at half moon hideaway. It allowed all of our wedding dreams to come to life.

Gillian was very supportive, caring and helpful. I stayed at the cottage the night before with my bridal party. It was the perfect start to our wedding day. We had our make up and hair artists come to us in the morning which meant I never had to be further than 200m from the ceremony.

The ceremony it’s self was magical. Gillian’s love and care for her property was felt by all the guests. All guests stated how beautiful the property and wedding was.

What an amazing place. We were here for our son's wedding - a very small family event made ever so much more special by Gillian - her attention to detail and support throughout their special day. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. The hamper and fridge full of local treats and favourites was an extra bonus we did not expect.

A month a ago we had our wedding at Halfmoon Hideaway! It was absolutely perfect and Gillian is the most accommodating person, and so friendly. The views are spectacular and the little personal touches make it feel like you are old friends staying the night. She thinks of everything, including toys for our little one to play with. It was the absolute best choice we made for our wedding and were able to use it as a blank canvas and build the wedding of our dreams. Absolutely gorgeous xx

Simply amazing. Gillian made us feel so welcomed and relaxed after a long trip and the nerves building up to our wedding. The cottage was gorgeous, the views stunning, and all the beautiful animals made it perfect. It was all the little things that just made it the destination and our special day went perfectly, Thank you!
