We always stay with Marianne because she is so kind, warm and welcoming. Everything is so clean and cosy. The towels are soft and fluffy and the toiletries are cruelty free. We are vegan and Marianne was so accommodating and made some delicious vegan muffins for us. There is a beautiful garden, a bathtub, wifi, and it's really close to the bay. We love staying here and will continue to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Halcyon of Dover very much. We had a large comfortable room including a sitting area with views across the garden and green fields beyond. Breakfast was excellent. Our hostess, Marianne was kind and knowledgable. One morning she walked us down to the local museum for a guided tour. We enjoyed our chats with her over our 3 day stay. We highly recommend Halcyon - and Dover in general - as good choices to base oneself for exploration of the south-eastern region of Tasmania.

Lovely B&B. Maryanne the host of the B&B was lovely and the accommodation was very nice. Short walk to the RSL up the road for a few drinks and meal overlooking the bay. Breakfast was good. ||Just beware of the sloping ceilings in the converted attic rooms.

Quaint little B&B run by a gorgeous lady. The most comfortable bed we've slept on ever. Nice continental b'fast in the morning. If you're walking to the South Cape or visiting the local caves at Hastings then this is a great base.

This is a very quaint B and B. The room was very nice and it was quite big with a sitting area as well. Marianna was a very good hostess. And we enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast was very nice. Would recommend this to anyone the view was amazing
