This seems to be a very popular cafe with the beach just across the road. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. You need to wait to be seated and orders are taken at the table. My pancakes the day before the GC50k were not quite what I was expecting and would have preferred more fresh fruit and less chocolate but that’s just my opinion as I’m sure others would love the chocolate. Both visits - the morning before and brunch after the 50k were pleasant with friendly staff and considering how busy they were, the service was quick. My eggs benny with mushrooms was just what I needed after the run and my friend enjoyed her breakfast wrap. 4.8 ⭐️

Beef Brisket Benny and a Bloody Mary with bacon, BOOM! Nailed it. Always busy and soooo welcoming. We arrived with a large group, and the staff whipped up a table for us with a side of banter and smiles. Such a fun cafe. Highly recommend

Haig Street Cafe is located right opposite the beach and walkway with on street dining and inside restaurant seating. Open early 5am so suited my calendar . Very friendly staff and very generous portion sized meals. Coming from a hospitality background in hotels and sales in all hospitality sectors including cafes this one is awefully hard to beat. If you are staying in the Kirra area I highly recommend this cafe for your lunch and early breakfast needs. Awesome. Coffee on point and location ideal . It’s a beauty !!

Easy to see why this place gets busy all year round packed with locals. Great coffee, our food was fresh and delicious and the service was incredible. Highly recommend the loaded breakfast croissant stacked with beautiful bacon 2 perfectly fried eggs, avo plus lots of other goodies for just $24. Located opposite the iconic Kirra beach. ?

I cannot stress enough how much I love everything about this place. Whenever we come to the GC we come here. Perfectly cooked eggs, huge meal sizes, delicious coffee, great array of juices, halloumi grilled to perfection, tasty sourdough, delightful staff and a beach view. To quote my partner “the hollandaise sauce is the f@&)ing best”. And doggo friendly. Enjoy.
