We were thoroughly impressed with Chef Rolf and the team at Gunabul, who went above and beyond to ensure our team's Christmas lunch was a resounding success. The room was exquisitely decorated with festive flair, the buffet serving station was first-rate, the food was delectable, and the service was exceptional. What truly stood out, however, was the team's evident pride in delivering an outstanding experience. Our sincerest gratitude to them. The entire experience was on par with what one would expect from a 5-star hotel.

Read the reviews, most are about golf!
I had lunch at the Cafe and the food was great, 4 stars and good value. Sadly the stunning restaurant is now a pub like games area and no option for cool indoor dining, the previous opulent ambiance is lost.
For the owner, I was attacked twice by a bird, water sprays were provided in the past, also table positioning forced me to squeeze past a small group 3 times on the deck. Maintenance can be done out of cafe hours, I listened to a gurney blasting throughout lunch.
The cafe has wheelchair access via the back door and parking is usually adequate. I reccommend the food and if locals go back we may transform the cafe back into a restaurant.

1st visit and looking forward to it after a great reputation. Unfortunately we had our Christmas Party lunch there and not only was a great portion of the food under cooked, food that was paid for wasn't even served. When under cooked food was complained about, the response was, " everything is pre-cooked and reheated". No apology but I hope my company went back for a big discount! Won't be returning.

Dined for breakfast at Cafe 1885. Location is lovely, so much opportunity here. Unfortunately breakfast was not great, quality could be hugely improved. Bacon on Benedict was undercooked, toast for smashed avocado undercooked. For the price one would want a little more promise. I hope they get the food up to scratch as this would be a great place to visit.

Got a coffee from the homestead while we charged our EV.
Charger only provided a 70Kw service so not sure if it was my vehicle or the charger. Have attempted to add the charger to google. All in all a positive experience

The Gunabul team welcomed our whole work crew for an extended stay. They went above and beyond to accomodate changes in our bookings and additional requests to store equipment.||They have an Impressive par 3 course which I certainly didn’t expect to find in the area. A dedicated team mows and looks after the course and you’ll struggle to lose a ball. Many holes with significant elevation drops which are quite fun.||New fast charger being installed while we were there, so bring your Tesla!
