Partner and I had a pork sausage roll and beef pie. Bit disappointed wasn’t how it used to be Pork sausage roll tasted like onion barely any pork. The beef pie wasn’t flavorsome. I think you you need to review your recipes and go to how you use to make them.

What a little find! We stumbled upon this great bakery offering coffee and large variety of bakes. Sausage roll was amazing! Thank-you from a UK visitor

I haven't had a pie on a Saturday morning for ages so after a successful browse at Guildford books I thought I'd try the bakery.

I went for the chilli beef pie for $7.80.

The pastry was good and the pie held together well even though it was packed with chunky beef and a rich chilli gravy.

It wasn't super spicy but still had a nice kick with a few jalapenos in the mix.

Warm, helpful service and very popular.

It was a rainy sunday morning, most of the tables were wet and people were just standing at sidewalk to wait for a seat. They could have done better to dry those tables.
2nd time here for the cinnamon bun. A must have in my opinion if you are here.
However, 1st time on the Pepper beef pie. Delicious!

Well the que was long & they are doing a roaring trade on pies & pasties. I went for the cakes & pastries in the nearby display cabinet as they looked awesome. I had high expectations as everything looked so nice & so I spent over $25. The Apple Stroudel was very average, as was the custard slice however the flourless tart was reasonable. The pastry was just too thick & lacked the delicate touch of refined baking. I think they should stick to what they know best; breads, pies & pasties and now realise why the cakes & pastries cabinet was full, despite the shop being busy with customers.
