Guildford retreat delivers s'more. Thanks for a great night and fun memories. Leroy went above and beyond as our lively host , lighting the fire for toasted marshmallows in the beautiful gardens of this magical retreat.

After an unexpected trip to hospital, nothing to do with the guest house, we found it real easy to book a room in this delightful period property, we arrived after dark and was greeted by the host who was very helpful and informative, we were shown to our room after hours but nothing was too much trouble. ||The next morning it was explained were we could find local shops and places to eat, the room was very nice and a very good night sleep was what we wanted and got, not too hot for the time of year, the pool looked very inviting but unfortunately we had an appointment to go to, was very pleasant and would recommend Guilford as a place to stay as it has lots of historical buildings etc.||Thank you to John and Shelly for a loverly night.

Guildford River Retreat was a delight and John and Shelley were lovely to deal with. I stayed in the Heritage Suite and it was stunning, old-world charm with modern day comforts and immaculately clean.Great location with restaurants, cafes, and a pub within walking distance as well as access to trains. Would gladly stay again...and hope to when next in Perth.

Lovely comfy rooms and comfy bed. However if you drive a large vehicle parking can be a pain! Parking the Ranger was a test of patience

Our favorite Place to stay whenever we visit Perth. Guildford River Retreat is the whole package. Friendly and welcoming owners Shelley and Jon, always doing the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Great location, Definitely value for money. This time we have been upgraded to the Heritage room which was an absolute delight, Stunningly beautiful room, very spacious with your own lounge and a huge bathroom with a full size bath and a mega shower , as always its very clean and well appointed rooms, coffee and tea making facility with a bar fridge. Close to shops and train station, surprisingly the room was quiet despite being at the front of the house. lovely surroundings., definitely we will continue to stay here when we visit Perth. Highly recommended

Comfy beds and very clean. Room serviced each day.|Good central location. Guildford easily accessible down the road and across the train tracks. Only a small amount of parking, fortunately only a few others staying so wasn't too much of a problem.|Pity the pool wasn't heated or very clean.

Small windowless room right next to train tracks and under flight path of airport. Bed was rock hard and 2 seater couch was broken and my husband hurt his back trying to get out of it. Internet didnt work which was unsuitable as we were there for a work trip.||Room is old fashioned and very drab. Grounds are very old and need a lot of maintenance.||We booked at 12pm and advised shortly after we arrived at 3.30pm that the room was unsuitable and that we would be checking out the next day. A refund for the following 2 nights was refused so we ended up spending another $703.80 on accommodation elsewhere. ||DO NOT STAY HERE!!
