Absolutely delicious! Had a blast yesterday at the bistro! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was stunning. The service was also top-notch - friendly and attentive. Seafood was fresh and delicate!

I was genuinely impressed by the food — every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I ordered the prawns linguine,kid pasta and the chocolate fondant, everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the service made the experience even better. I had an incredible dining experience at the Guildford Hotel Bistro in Sydney. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The menu had a great variety, catering to all tastes, and the portions were generous.

Excellent service, very accommodating, friendly and attentive staff, especially Oliver.
Food is delicious, fresh and done to my liking.
Beef, though not stated in the menu is grain fed.
Another great thing is you can pay CA$H.
Plenty of parking at the back.
Well done to the management and staff in transforming this venue.
Definitely a place to go for.

For further customer satisfaction, I suggest to add gravy to the grilled beef.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and modern, shared bathroom was very upmarket. Loved the timber floors. Would be great to have a sink somewhere for filling kettle, washing personal plates etc rather than using the bathroom.

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times whenever we travel to Sydney, and it never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which adds a personal touch to our stay. The location is incredibly convenient—right near the train station, with restaurants and grocery stores within easy reach. The clean and well-maintained rooms make it a comfortable choice every time. Highly recommended for frequent traveler's like us!

Majority of the time it's a great place, but as it gets later in the night the pokies are always full of men, so it's hard for a woman to even get a machine, but they've recently hired a wonderful woman security guard who looks after us girls so the ass slapping and crude comments are slowly coming to a halt, as she'll throw them out. The new owner seems to be a good man who just wants his pub to be a happy place, there's a kid friendly bistro which serves delicious food, and you always have the regulars at the bar or watching the footy or fights there so you go there often enough you'll be counted as a regular. Warning though, if you walk out with a big win go straight to your car as there's been some new up and coming youngsters thinking they're tough and trying to rob people when they leave the pub, but I guess that happens at all pubs. Otherwise it's a fantastic place to play and have a slap, have a drink if that's what you're in to (the staff are always around so if you just want a coke or lemonade they're always there popping up whenever you need them with a smile on their faces!) I'm a local so I don't go late at night unless I'm with my husband, but during the day til about 9 or 10pm I feel safe as a house, especially with their great security they have.

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and overall a nice place to enjoy a good cold drink.
Would highly recommend for the atmosphere alone. Clean and comfy, a good option for a quiet drink with mates.
