Fabulous location. Rooms clean and comfortable. Spacious and well maintained. The only negative factor is parking. Very little on-site parking and if disabled it is not convenient to have to park down the street or near the surf club!. For the price paid, there should be allocated parking for guests or in the description on site this should be specified boldly.

Incredible location and a beautiful old hotel. Reasonable rates. Parking is a major issue and I had to keep moving my car every few hours. They do have a car park but there is no parking attached to the room and it is not secure so it is being used by the general public with no enforcement. Everything in my room is coated with concrete dust from the decaying ceiling making me sneeze continuously. Extremely noisy location next to surf club... was woken up just before midnight by a huge brawl there being sorted by police. Right next to great surfing spots but very hard to get boards in and out of the hotel or the rooms. They have a storage room but it only opens at 7.30am. Bathroom ceilings are so low that my head almost hits the ceiling. Beautiful old timber lifts you don't see very often. Amazing building design. Wonderful place to stay while you can it is due to be demolished soon hence the falling apart facilities.

This is an older style property in a great location within a short walk to amenities in Coolangatta and across the road from the beach. The room was adequate and spotless with all the usual amenities. Our room had the river view, some have an ocean view. It is a good option for a short stay and we would stay here again as reasonably priced.

Surprisingly good. Great location right next to the beach. Clean large room.
It's beside a derelict apartment building but if you can look past that, this is so close to all amenities, cafes, mall, surf club and restaurants.

Wow.... my experience so far has been fantastic!!!!! I honestly have never been somewhere so accommodating. Haven't seen the room yet but looks fine on the website. Its only to sleep in anyway! 🙂

Great location across road from beach, and 3 surf clubs, shops, movie theatre and supermarket within easy walking distance. About 500m walk from an airport-bus stop. My unit was spacious and well equipped, but I spent all my time on the beach.

Room was refurbished, reasonably clean.
Only one lift operated.
Outside looked extremely rundown (right block) & front garden
Happened to learn that the building is going to be demolished this Xmas.
Overall was not too bad for the last minute booking at that price range.

The hotel it’s quite old and seems not renovated at all. Not bad, but was our first impression at the arrival.

The corridors to the rooms are a bit scary shinin-like haha. And the rooms also hold a bit of humidity smell. The bed was the best of all, comfortable and fresh.

The location is priceless. So, if you are not fused about having fancy modern stuff and love being steps from the beach. Good spot.
