They have ripped all of their elderly tenants off with their crisis support payments, they claimed for them and received their payments that they were entitled too. We are in the middle of seeking legal advice due to this. As these people lost food, power, experienced damaged etc and they were told by the landlord of the site that they would do the claims for them all and desperce the funds to what’s needed.
They have no right to do the following, these people have the right to that crisis payment after the X-cyclone. You don’t have the right to take it for them.

We were very disappointed with where we were placed with our caravan. We were plonked on a grassed paddock with water, our power had to go across a gravel road, and it just made it to the power box after I had to move the caravan 500 mm closer. It rained most of the time we were their and the aria we were put filled up with water. So this was not a nice outcome. We found the manager very rude and abrasive.
This was on a couple of occasions. The caravan park is very run down and needs a lot of work done on it to justify the $40 per night. The dump point needs work done on it and there was no hand cleaner provided to clean your hands after use.
To sum it up we will never stay there again.

My family and I stayed in the family cabin. It was putrid. Windows permanently opened and you can’t close them. Dirt all in the window sills. air con in the main bedroom, however the cord is too short to reach the power point. Mould on bathroom ceiling. Shower floor has been spray painted. Dirt all through cabin floor. Dirty towel left on towel hook from previous tenant. Smell of smoke wafting through park from permanent tenants. Debbie was quite rude to me on the phone when I initially made the booking, told her we would be checking in around 4:00 - 6:00AM and it was wasn’t an issue on the phone however when it came to the crunch she was super rude about it. When I came into office to pay final night accommodation, Debbie was once again very rude. She had a customer on the phone on loud speaker which I didn’t realise when I walked in, so I said hello, with a big friendly smile and she death stared me. Couldn’t even smile back and acknowledge me. However when hubby came in, she was super friendly to him. The photos on the website only show the front of the family cabin, not the interior. Stains all over chair covers. Curtains don’t close properly at front of cabin, so people can see in. No light in ‘third’ room. It’s an extension built on to main room with two single beds and a see through curtain to divide main room. The back door is screwed shut so you can’t open it. I Would not recommend.

In response to manager….

I’m not sure why you would think we would bring concerns to you, when I was treated the way I was

Hence why when my partner dropped the keys back and you asked how the stay was, he replied ‘you know how it is. It was great’.
Which he was being sarcastic about…
We are intelligent enough to know this would not have been dealt with professionally, if we had of bought it up in person.

Even if that was your ‘caretaker’ who takes payments and makes bookings, they represent your business and displayed zero customer service to myself.

No, my extended family does not ‘stay all the time’. You are clearly in denial and have no idea and are writing this to try to justify your response to my review.

I have never once reviewed a business on google review or treated as poorly as I was whilst on holidays, hence the reason for my review.

Such a warm welcome from Debbie and her husband who run this lovely caravan park. Nothing is too much trouble and Debbie goes above and beyond to ensure you have a hassle free stay while you are visiting Brisbane . Our little doggy was made most welcome as well. Nice quiet location with grass sites and concrete slabs. Powered and unpowered sites at
very reasonable rates. Amenities a bit dated, but, spotless. Laundry facilities great as well. Lots of machines and hanging space. We will be back . This will be our go to now when we come up from Adelaide to visit our family in Brisbane.
Well done Debbie and your team. Keep up the great work

I needed somewhere to stay in my van urgently. Debbie got me a spot and Peter got me on it. A few days later I had a very bad fall and spent a few days in hospital and needed to extend my stay at a time when they were fully booked. Again they sorted me out and told me not to worry about anything. Kindness above and beyond at a time when i needed it. I can not thank them enough. The amenities may be tired but they are clean and that is what matters. The park is quiet and the area for tourists is grassy with slabs on powered sites. As a single woman I felt quite safe. A great book swap library at reception. Wish the passionfruit were ripe 😉
