Big thanks to Rob at Great Sandy Straits Marina, we conveniently had our yacht here for an extended length of time over summer and autumn. After a few months away our boat was in the same great condition we left her in when we returned and while staying on board the marina was quite, clean and tidy, good amenities with many good eating options and coffee shops close by. We are very happy with our decision to stop here.

Really enjoyed our stay at GSS Marina. Rob the manager was awesome. Helped us in ridiculous weather with a smile and nothing was to much trouble. Facilities are really clean and the laundry actually has working machines which I’m finding isn’t normal at other marinas. Well done GSS Straits. Will definitely be back.

Went out on the Whalesong boat for a cruise around the bay and short stop on Fraser Island. Whalesong boat was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic day out.

We couldn’t fault the care and information provided by Rob at this marina. We are a 57 ft fishing boat from Tasmania and stayed at the marina for several days over a 2 week period. The facilities are excellent - extra clean toilets and showers and a great laundry. The restaurants and cafes all within an easy walk fed us nicely for several lunches and dinners. Particular thanks to Rob the marina manager who was very helpful and obliging. We would highly recommend this marina as a long or short stopping point that is both secure and very clean.

Great marina with cafes, restaurants and boat club adjacent. Has very good bus access to do any shopping required but greatest asset is the manager Rob who was brilliant in helping us get a berth on 3 occasions, highly recommend
