Our stay at Great Keppel Island Holiday Village was absolutely amazing and exceeded all our expectations! The managers, Jeppe and Anthony, were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we felt welcome every step of the way. Their team of volunteers was also wonderful—friendly, approachable, and full of good energy.

We were impressed by how clean and organized everything was. The team was constantly ensuring the facilities were spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. On top of that, we loved having access to the snorkeling gear—it added an extra layer of fun to our experience.

We were invited to join yoga classes, share meals, go to the beach in their cars, and so much more. It truly felt like being part of a little community rather than just a guest. We made friendships with the volunteers and shared beautiful moments together.

The level of care and hospitality from the entire team was exceptional, and we left with nothing but gratitude. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Without a doubt, I’ll be recommending this place to everyone.

I like our stay here, the cabin was very basic, It had a queen and 2 singles, a table and 2 chairs, a full size fridge and a en-suite. No TV, no lounge, no cooking facilities, no kettle no cutlery or utensils.
There was a camp kitchen available, but the cleaning was not up to scratch so i wouldn't use it.
It is a bit of a culture shock if you haven't done you homework, don't expect 2,3,4 or 5 stars.
It is more of a 'back packer' style accommodation.
The location is great, easy to the beach and cafe.
The only food available was the Hideaway cafe, which had a very basic menu, and the food varied dramatically depending on which cook was on.
There is no bottle shop on the Island, so the cafe is the only option for drinks.
Would i come here again, Yes, but i would definitely be more organized and arrive on the morning ferry and only stay one night and leave on the afternoon ferry.

This is truly a five star experience. Jeppe, Anthony and Theo are very nice hosts. It starts with a personal welcome at the ferry and they regularly check on everyone for their wellbeing.
The cottage is functional and well equipped. There is some wildlife walking by and plenty of birds to watch and hear.
The nicest beaches and great reefs are in walking distance and offer great swimming, playing in the sand and snorkeling.
We felt very welcome and well cared for during our stay and we can only recommend this establishment.

Amazing! The rooms were very cute, a bit of a mix between glamping and a hostel. I didn’t notice as many solo people, more couples and families. Perfect location. Great staff. The owners were super nice and went above and beyond. We forgot some money in the bed and they called to return it. Definitely would recommend. Beautiful island. Thank you! (Went a few months ago)

Yebba (hope I spelled that right) and Anthony were great on our stay to Great Keppel Island. Very friendly and helpful with whatever you needed. Just not far from the site you have great walking trails, some easier than others so refer to the island map they have around the village for reference. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for a couple days and I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of going to GKI.

Staff are so helpful ,Theo is an absolutely fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble. Included transfers, and Theo very kindly assisted us with our baggage.The resort is very lay back and relaxed. Short walk to the beaches, and hotel. Kitchen, amenities and gardens very clean and tidy.

Our family recently enjoyed 5 wonderful days glamping at Geoff's Holiday Village on Great Keppel Island. Managers Susie and Nathan are amazing, they made us all so welcome. 🥰 Comfy and clean double bed tents, big kitchen with lots of freezer space for all our food. And so many Island trails and beaches and snorkelling gear provided. We got to swim amongst the coral with giant turtles. Can't wait to return. Thank you for hosting us, the Chalmers gang of 8 😊
