The island is absolutely stunning and there’s lots to see and do. The room was very basic for the price, smelled of sewage and the water ran hot and cold in the shower. You could hear every movement and word of the people in the rooms beside you, which wasn’t great. The meals at the resort were not good and the happy hour cocktails tasted like mocktails. Each member of staff I spoke to was professional and friendly. Keep your expeditions low in terms of the accommodation and spend as much time as possible out of the room!

Great venue for families, singles, group events - we celebrated with 50 others - all booked their own accommodation- meals were varied and delicious. Highly recommended - it goes without saying the water for boating, sunset cruise and snorkelling is safe, blue and clear.

Bit of a disappointment. Receptionists great. Bar staff just ok. Kitchen very poor. Well below par pub food. Had the big breakfast this morning. The mushrooms were old & chewy, tomatoes look like they were a few days old. They need a good chef to smarten things up. Would be too hard. Don't think we would come back again.

My daughters and I visited recently & had such a wonderful stay. The weather was gorgeous, water was perfect & sunset 🌅 incredible. |We stayed in the Putney rooms which was super clean & comfortable as well as quiet. |Cannot wait to go back in March

Cheapest place to stay on the Great Barrier reef. Away from crowds and snorkel wherever you want. Great spots nearby are Shelving Bay and Monkey Beach. Turtles, stingrays, clownfish and shark rays. Clear waters. Accommodation is OK, but location is second to none. You can hire a boat from the dive shop for about $100 for the whole boat, which can drop you off at a any secluded location and pick you up later in the day.

I'm reviewing the restaurant, as I didn't stay overnight. I ordered the burger and it was extremely underwhelming. The fries were average. However the staff were very friendly and the scenery, unmatched.

What an amazing and beautiful place. Went for two days and one night...felt like we'd been away for a week. Accommodation is basic but very clean and the place and people make up for it in bucketloads. Food was great and reasonably priced. We went midweek, take your hiking boots, togs and a sketchbook. Snorkeling trip was excellent! Definitely on my bucketlist to return...the whole Capricorn Coast is a hidden treasure.

What a delightful layed back resort, food was great, staff friendly and helpful, the vibe is just what u need to get totally relaxed. The sand white, sea aqua blue, warm water, great snorkeling. Don’t expect 5 star, but a place where a sarong and thongs are all u need. Hope to get back again next year.
