Just stopped by to ask about the walk to Stuart's Point. A great walk along the Beach when the tide is low about 40 mins from back beach. This is a gorgeous out of the way caravan park. Quiet and special. Seemed to me a place where you could get away and enjoy a real escape from the hassle and bustle of bigger parks.

Would highly recommend this campground for the price you pay.

The location is perfect, amenities are clean and tidy and the staff was super helpful (we had a heavy storm one of the days and after it, they were checking on everyone and relocating people where necessary due to the heavy rain).

Very close to Scott’s Head too, just a 10-minute drive.

Great location and lovely camp site, with easy access to dog friendly beaches.
Avoid at all costs during holiday periods and school holidays if you want a quiet space as the park becomes extremely busy.
Find it quite ironic that you have to sign a form saying you will keep your dog under control at all times, yet there seems to be no rules about acceptable behaviour of people’s children!!
We’re here at a long weekend and it’s like camping in the middle of a zoo. Music and karaoke blaring out so loud we can’t even hear our TV and feral kids running under our awnings and constantly shouting at each other.
So unpleasant we’re having to cut our trip short.

It's quite a nice spot. I don't think the beach is especially swimming friendly but is great for a walk. The park is set back behind the dunes and has a definite old school time has passed by feeling. They do have free wifi but it's speed is very poor. Not good enough for Netflix or similar. A quiet spot. Need to drive for pretty much everything you might need to buy.

We had a great stay at Grassy Head.. it's a great location only a short walk to the beach. The amenities were clean and the service very helpful and friendly. All this and great value too. We took our mountain bikes on some fire trails nearby into the National Park, there are plenty of walks to do as well. Just make sure you watch for grass ticks on your dogs, as I caught one climbing up my arm as I was rolling up our grey water hose.

We did not stay here, but instead we were day visitors. There's a wonderful off-leash beach area for the dogs that our dog absolutely loved. We almost had the beach to ourselves. It was a lovely beach, but saying that, all the beaches around here are magic.

Phoned the park on my way and the wonderfull Nui took my call.|At short notice i had a place to call home for the night!|Travelling on my own and later in the afternoon i was so happy at the ease with which Nui just organised my stay and welcomed me on arrival. |the Cabin was utterly delightful - looking recently refurbished and decorated.|The bed / bedding was clean and soft, it had everything i could need. |Nui directed my dinner enquiry and i can recommend the Stuarts point tavern for decent, well priced meals.|Morning sunrise over the water and a hot cuppa - what could be better!?|I will definitely come again , and as the park and beach are doggo friendly will be bringing the fur family (and hubby) along next visit.|Thanx Nui!!|
