It's a country pub.
The service was awesome, very friendly, and helpful. The pub wad really the only place open on the Saturday night we were there. The menu was typically classic pub fare, to be honest.
I ordered a steak, and my partner chose the crumbed pork.
The pork was nice according to her but my steak was well done and definitely not medium rare, but hey its like I say it was a decent enough meal and although not cheap wasn't the dearest either. The drinks were nice and cold and dished up quickly.
We would have eaten out on the tables on
the footpath, but sadly people were smoking on clearly marked no smoking table.
Gave it 4 stars but really a 7 out 10.

I really wish I could say something more positive about dining here. It's very basic and that's to be expected. The staff were friendly, so that's a plus. Unfortunately, the food was sub-standard and not even up to a genuine country 'pub' quality.

Beautiful old pub with lots of charm and character except for the fact they put pokies in which you can hear audibly from the accomodation upstairs until around 8-9pm when it dies down. They vanquished the ladies room and fine dining room. Such a shame that they’ve desecrated such a beautiful old pub with pokies however.

Lovely renovated room, new and comfy bed. Shared Bathroom was lovely and clean. Walls are paper thin and you could literally hear the bloke next door getting through the night. ? They have a community room on the same floor with well appointed kitchen, etc. problem is if you are trying to sleep. You can hear all the chatter and add it is a pub, they come up to continue the party. Didn't get much sleep until after 2am. Still, it was an experience and it was quaint. Beautiful little town. Lovely overnight stay. Easily spend a few days in town.

Had dinner there on Friday 30th September 2024.
Hubby and I both ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork burgers and a serve of chips.
The burger consisted of 1/2 Bottle bbq sauce for $22.00 each AWFUL
The serve of chips for $2.00 was a bit small
We have been there a number of times for meals as we have family in the area but have to say this was the WORST MEAL WE HAVE EVER HAD AT THIS PUB
