Great. No complaints from us. Good price and value for budget conscious. Dog friendly as well. My husband and I stayed 3 nights recently. Our room was clean and comfortable. Bed comfy. Met our needs during our stay. Handy position for getting around everywhere and easy stroll to river and into town to all amenities. Special mention to very nice and helpful staff member Lisa.

I am not sure what to write about this property really. I know we were a little disappointed after having read previous reviews. The room certainly didn’t look like the picture of the one I booked. We did receive a warm welcome. Parking was easy, wifi good, bed comfortable and water hot. It was good to have a little table with chairs, microwave and a toaster so, in that respect, the hotel was fine. Probably fine for the price. I think it is just a little tired and needs a bit of TLC. |Sadly we had a terrible experience on our first night which left us wondering where the heck we had booked. |Around 11.30 p.m. there was a dreadful racket from another room above us (we think). Use of disgusting language, ranting and raving, yelling about drugs, crying until around 1 a.m. It got so bad we decided to call the hotel’s after hours number in the compendium. It was the wrong number listed! Thank goodness the person either passed out or fell asleep and we could finally get some rest.|I know this is not the property’s fault. It is their responsibility, however, to have the correct contact phone number listed.|Reception was closed in the morning so we reported the incident later in the afternoon. The receptionist was VERY apologetic and gave us the correct mobile to ring if it happened again. Thank goodness it didn’t on our second night. We probably wouldn’t stay again but as a cheaper place to stop it would be okay for a night or two.

Lovely and clean. Close to Seiffert Stadium ( walking distance). Tea/coffee and biscuits. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Plenty of parking. Staff very helpful. Restaurant closed. Key pad entry. Blockout blinds. No flyscrens on. Windows except barhroom

My family and I stayed here for two nights and booked two rooms for five of us. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable; however, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty but lucky my partner brought soap with him. My sister stayed in the other room with my mother and niece and they too had no soap! There is no restaurant or bar at this motel so don't be deceived by the website advertising that there is one. It is outdated and should be removed from website. The motel is close to shops and restaurants and I would highly recommend eating at the Royal Hotel for dinner but ring ahead and make a reservation. The Queanbeyan Leagues Club has nice meals also.

Great little motel, nothing fancy but spacious and clean. Genuinely pet friendly. Just a 5 minute walk to town.

Went to check in, no one in front office. Then she told us room wasn't ready despite us being late to check it. It hadn't been vacuumed so we had to leave then return so it could be cleaned. Front of house stated she hates him, (the guy that was doing vaccuming) and he's "Asian," as if that means something?
Was triple charged for a room and took ages to get my money back as front of house didn't know how to do it.
T.v volume didn't work. No matter how much you messed around with it.
Room was "clean," if you didn't look closely. Most uncomfortable bed in the existence of the world.
Mold growing under bathroom sink. Soap dispensers covered scum. Felt like you'd catch something if you touched the bathroom walls or floor.
You can hear every. Single. Sound.
People above us constantly making noise. Can hear people talking through the walls. Others little dogs yapping at all hours which made our dog insecure and unable to rest.
Didn't sleep for the 2 nights we were staying.

Absolutely will not stay again.

If a lower rating was available, I'd give it.

Great size room for the price and close to shops. Rooms were very clean and check in could be done online so no need to wait around at reception
